In early 2018 we hired Meghan O’Brien - owner of 1840 creative house to do our social media platforms and content writing. From day one, it became clear they were not the ‘experts’ in the subject. The cost vs. Return was horrid as we ended up having to have another employee oversee her day to day operations as we were unaware of what Meghan O’Brien was actually doing on a daily basis. Meghan was also hired to work remotely (at her suggestion) it became evident after a couple months that Meghan was clocked in, but not actually producing any work. Unfortunately, when work was produced, the only consistent things that came from Meghan’s work were grammar and punctuation errors, revisions and late deadlines.

To my knowledge, there was not one piece of work submitted that did not have any issue with It or require more attention from another co-worker. In short- you never knew what you were going to be receiving or how long it was going to take to fix it.

We originally hired Meghan to alleviate some of our headaches, however, she just caused more.

If you’re considering hiring Meghan O’Brien and 1840 creative house for any marketing, I emplor you to look elsewhere. The inconsistency, lack of effort, and headaches caused are truly not worth your time or money.

Awesome to work with! Works remotely so we don't have to give her a physical spot. Our company is ocmpletely location independent, so this works very well for us. Meghan is very flexible and able to make blog posts, to social media articles, posts and provide good overall strategy.

We really enjoyed working with Meghan and we would recommend her in a heart beat!

Buyer Beware

Megan is unprofessional. She was hired to write an online news letter that I never received. She provided about 10 mediocre instagram posts in 2 months. think twice about hiring her and please look at the dates she gets good reviews, it seems when the last guy complain about her she paid people to say nice things.
