Some reviews on here buyers mention not doing there due diligence, come on people. We did not experience this, Claudia even helped setup a radon test and always recommended we get a house inspection.

I recently purchased a home from Royal Lepage in Nakusp with undisclosed mold. Within two weeks of the purchase, I paid $1500.00 to have a company test the air in the house and confirm that there is mold in it. Royal Lepage in Nakusp doesn't care and has not offerred to help with the issue. They wouldn't help me, are they going to be honest with you? Beware, the mold smell can be covered up and it can be temporarily reduced so the buyer doesn't see it or smell it. The real estate company will not protect you if you buy a home with undisclosed mold. Second home in a row I have purchased with undisclosed mold. Realtors really don't protect you.

This review will be a mixed review for starters.

As a single woman trying to do real estate business in a man's world all I can say is do not deal with Gord Marshall he is not your friend.

I was dealing on a recreational property in nakusp and he told me clearly he would keep me abreast of any and all activity on the property I was interested in.

Weeks went by and I heard nothing from Mr Gord Marshall so finally I sent an inquiry email to which he replied the property had sold... the property had indeed sold to a buyer of mr. Marshalls choosing I had offered 2000 more than the listing price and yet mr. Marshall failed to tell me that an offer was even on the table.

I was very interested in this property and had my heart set on it very much and was looking forward to placing a bid mr. Marshall decided I was not a good enough potential buyer for him and sold it to someone of his own personal choosing who cost the seller lost money I might add.

Gord Marshall plays favourites is not an advocate of doing business with women and does not do what he promises to do.

When I told him all of this and my dissatisfaction with his Services he then replied that he had a similar listing coming up on the market within a few days and that he would email me the details.

That was about a month ago and I have not heard anything since from Mr Gord Marshall.

So as far as Royal LePage Selkirk Realty is concerned I will no longer be dealing with the men of this real estate office I will happily deal with the women who seem to actually care and who treat me like a serious client.

So screw you Gord Marshall.
