We moved to Strathmore a few years ago. We bought an existing home built by Aquilla. We put in an offer based on 1 viewing. The layout and quality of work was easy to see and the house inspection found zero issues with anything.
Since moving in we have had a few occasions to contact Barry at Aquilla to ask questions for insurance purposes regarding hail damage to roof and insurance wanting proof we had back flow valves installed on sewer lines. The response has always been prompt and with photos if required.
We have been so happy with the house and the service you receive from Aquilla staff even as the second purchaser of the home they have been excellent to work with.
We have worked with Builders in Calgary and Edmonton and by far Aquilla have been head and shoulders above all. As a local Builder in Strathmore they know the town, the best contractors and are part of the community.
We highly recommend their houses either new or as a subsequent owner, you will be treated so well.

Well, we have gone the wonderful journey of building a new home with Aquilla Homes. We were lucky to walk into an Aquilla show home in February and we fell in love with the design, decor, and workmanship. Aquilla’s online computer program keeps you the buyer on track with meticulous detail, subtlety reminding you of your role in the progress of building your new home; when to go to each of the suppliers to choose your carpet, plumbing, lighting, etc. One on one relaxed and unrushed conversations with Barry and Tracey throughout the progress allows for you to ensure that yours and their ideas are worked out and applied to the construction of your wonderful home. March 31st will mark 3 years since we took possession of our home built by Aquilla Homes in Strathmore's community of Wildflower Ranch. We love our home as much today as we did the first day we entered it. Tracey and Barry were so great to deal with and their foreman Murray is top notch. Even after almost 3 years they are still involved to answer any question we may have. When we were looking for a new home about 4 years ago we ran our realtor through the paces, knowing that whatever we chose was going to be our forever home. We were unsure at the time if we would buy new or used until we walked through Aquilla's show-home. I work for an Electrical contracting company and have been in my field for over 30 years, so I have an appreciation for contractor quality. The first places I looked at in their show home were the first places that contractors neglect quality; the basement, in particular the Electrical and Furnace Rooms. I was impressed to see the quality in every area of the show-home matched throughout. We bought our home from Aquilla in 2018 and couldn't be happier. The quality of the build was very important to us after spending 12+ years renovating homes and seeing the work others have done. We were not disappointed with Aquilla.

Barry walked us through each step and showed all of the value added steps they take to make sure our house was built right. They even gave us access to pictures of every step of the build, from foundation to roof. Tracey and Murray make sure that every (minor) issues is resolved to our satisfaction and in a timely manner. They are all very professional and friendly and made or first home building experience very enjoyable.

Late last year we had the basement developed and hired another reputable contractor to help us finish it. He and his crew kept commenting on how well our house was built compared to others they've worked on. They were also very impressed about all the things Aquilla did in preparation for the basement development and the extra steps they took, like spray foaming the rim joists, extra large windows and rough in for the built in vacuum, even prewiring a doorbell for the basement.

We would highly recommend the Aquilla team and would use team again if we ever build a new house.

After having our home built in 2016 we could not be more pleased with the quality of our home. The communication with Aquilla Homes was very consistent and quick. Each phase of our home build was extremely transparent and we we were always updated with the progress.

Through any build you will always have your ups and downs. After moving in we did have some shingles lifting and a few concerns with our garage door. With that being said, the way everything was handled was very quick and professional. Nothing was swept under the rug and was dealt with better then we could have ever expected.

If you want an open & honest builder we recommend Aquilla Homes to anyone and we would definitely build with them again!
