I’d like to give this little gem of a British shop a shout out @britishbangercompany that is in the @townofokotoks

We visited for the first time last weekend and definitely enjoyed their products. We went back today and loaded up again.

Chris loves the pork pies “just like home” he states. I enjoyed the Scotch eggs and sausage rolls. The sausage meat they use is sooo good! And, I’m not even a fan of pork! We’ve tried a lot of different places over the 13 years we’ve been in Alberta and they are the best in my opinion. But 🤗 I’m not the English blooded person in the house that can give the truest opinion. Chris was also happy to get his Cup of Soup today! For me it was the Cheese and Onion crisps. 😁

Absolutely fantastic place for meats, cheeses, and British store cupboard items. The staff are great too. Pork pies are fantastic when fresh.

So awesome having a local store that makes fresh pies and pasties just like we took for granted back in the northern UK - absolutely authentic and they taste delicious. They also have imported food goods when you crave a taste of the homeland such as crisps (yeah, they are called crisps, not chips), plus biscuits (not cookies, biscuits I tell you!) and also real proper bacon.

It was our first visit but this place is the real deal. Pork pies, Scotch eggs, sausages, black pudding, and Shropshire blue. Nice cuts of meat. Imported snacks. Friendly and knowledgeable service. For me, I finally found a place with good pork pies. Give the place a visit and I am sure you will find something you like.

My first visit to the BBC because I live a good distance away. Oh my goodness..the sausage and bacon are honestly the best I have ever had since moving to Canada over 40 years ago. I can’t believe my luck. The store is great, lots of goodies. Lots of meat options to choose from too. I am just glad I didn’t skimp when in there. Highly highly recommended, especially if you are missing good English sausage. Thanks Tracey and all…we will be back! Good excuse for a road trip 😜

I used to love this place but sadly, it is no longer what it once was. Since the refurbishment the quality of the sausage rolls and pasties has plummeted. They seem to be half the size they were and the filling is greatly reduced. Sadly, the price hasn't. I'm also wondering if the recipe for SR has changed as it seemed full of herbs. We were really disappointed as we hadn't been for a few weeks and had been looking forward to the bakery. It has nice staff and a decent choice of goods but the price increases and drop in quality of food has put us off and despite once being my fave place, we won't be returning. Shame.

I have bought some of your products from the the Alder cafe and grocery in Canmore. Sausages, lovely. Steak pies, fantastic with lovely pastry. I had my first of your pork pies yesterday. As an ex brit who has lived in Canada for over 40 years and have experienced good and bad pork pies in trips back to the UK my verdict on yours, Absolutely Gorgeous served with English mustard and salad. I am definitely going to make at trip to Okotoks in the near future.
