Coming from Calgary and stayed here for work. The owners, Mario and his Wife, are amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure the guest are well taken care of. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned regularly. The cleaners are so nice and attentive to your requests. The environment is very welcoming, feels like home. They have a restaurant and bar downstairs with slot machines, pool and foosball tables which is very convenient , especially on a Friday or Saturday night in a small town. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Viking or even near by towns. I always enjoy my stay! Thanks for the amazing hospitality Mario and family!

The photos of this hotel do not do it justice. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The owner, Mario, is very personable and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The room is clean, and a decent size. There is a small fridge and a microwave. The hotel was renovated a few years ago. The only thing I would change is the mattress, it was much harder than I am used to sleeping on, but not a deal breaker. I stayed here for work and will return.

I came out here for work and found this hidden gem. The room is updated at a great price. Highly recommend if you are looking to get a room in town. The owner makes sure you are taken care of. Great guy

Small older family run hotel attached to a small town bar. Room was updated and very clean. Price was great and the service was great. I was a late arrival and bartender doing "double duty" prioritized my check in when I introduced myself as calling earlier for a room. Entrench way up to the second floor was very nice. Noise from the bar was faint. Couldn't hear it with the TV on low. Bed was very comfortable.

A hidden gem! Don't let the outside of the hotel fool you. The exterior is very dated, but the rooms have been renovated and are lovely! I had surgery at the Viking Hospital, and we live over 2 hours away, so we decided to stay at the hotel. Great decision! (FYI, the staff and nurses at the Viking Hospital are absolutely wonderful!) We stayed in Room #3. It had a cute little kitchenette with all of the supplies, plus an extra bedroom. On top of it being a very comfortable stay, it was only $75 a night. We definitely recommend staying here. ?

Rooms are clean and cosy however,they are not designed for long term stays. Some of the rooms have electric stove but most of them don't.would be nice if they could improve the privacy of each rooms. I often hear shower running from the next room or becomes noisy when someone talks ...Overall great customer service from the owner and rooms are good for the price.
Hope they will fix these issues in the future.
