I purchased several items in June, one of which was a sweater. I don't typically wear sweaters in the summer, so yesterday was the first time I wore it. As I was rushing out the door, I noticed that it had a hole in it. I didn't have time to change because I was running late, so I had no choice but to wear it. I took it off when I got home and washed it because I had worn it. I called this morning to inquire about returning it, and I was told that they would not take it back because a) it was purchased a long time ago and b) it had been worn and washed. She said that she wouldn't take it back because she "couldn't guarantee what condition it was in when it left her store". I typically spend a lot of money on clothes, but I definitely won't be buying anything there again. My friend had also purchased an item earlier that she had to return because it had a hole in it as well. As anyone who shops here knows, their prices are definitely on the high end. My experience tells me that not only do they sell low quality clothing at a premium price, they are not willing to work with their customers to ensure that they maintain a good relationship with people who support their store. Private boutiques need to provide good customer service if they want to survive and thrive in a market where quality clothing can be purchased at a much lower price elsewhere. My reason for shopping at boutiques is for the boutique experience and to support small business. It is disappointing that they don't understand this.

Crown and Fox is truly a gem! The owner is incredibly kind and passionate about connecting with her customers. The clothes are stunningly beautiful, and there are so many gift ideas too. We love shopping there!

I'm going to try to make this short.
I went black friday shopping with my best friend. Her young daughter ( who happens to be my baby cousin) had 2 items on her Santa list. The first was a pair of boots she liked. The second was a stuffed reindeer named "romi" and was being sold for the outrage price of $54 at a swanky place ( not going to mention names), well needless to say she got both items on the list ( she has definitely been a good girl this year). My friend hid ( as she does every year) the gifts at my place.
I have 3 dogs....as it happens, they sniffed out this outrageously priced stuffed animal and made it their newest favorite toy. By the time I found romi, he was covered in slobber and missing an antler.
The panic set in.
I had a damn stiff drink and began making phone calls....I called the place where it was originally purchased. They were sold out ( of course) I called their other stores. Also sold out. Now I'm googeling this stuffed reindeer, and I hit gold...a small place in stony plain Alberta has one...yup crown and fox boutique...I live in ontario.
I called (cause im old) and spoke to krystal...not only did she have one but would send it out ASAP...it not only showed up exactly when she said it would, but she added an extra treat and a hand written card. ( need to add that the price was almost $10 lower than the price at the big box store).
So, while I live a few provinces over, you can be damn sure i will shop here again....thank you again krystal...the reindeer gods were smiling, and romi made it here in time.

Awesome store with such a good selection, from clothing to gifts! you will find some of the same clothing in boutiques in Edmonton for a higher price, So make sure you check here before you think you need to drive to the city! Friendly helpful staff as well!

Very cute and boujie boutique in Stony!

They have so many neat gift ideas and I love that they have some spiritual stuff as well. I also appreciated just having time and space to "be and shop" and not be pressured by "you still doing okay/can I help you/your hands look full" etc.

I also really appreciated that they do gift wrapping! Adorable pink paper and a gift bag, very rare these days and SO appreciated.

Been to the store a couple of times, they have some very trendy and cute items, but don’t think I’ll be going back. Both times I’ve been there, with minimal greeting, not very friendly and makes you feel like an inconvenience… I thought it was because they were busy the first time, but this last time there was only 1 other person in store. It’s a shame, but oh well.

This local shop is super cute with so many amazing gift ideas! The customer service was also amazing. First, I had sent the owner an email inquiring about a product. Since I was sending it at night I didn’t expect a reply until the morning but that evening I received a response and was told not to hesitate to reach out if I had any other questions. A few days later I went in to the shop to purchase a bath mat but when I brought it home I realized it had a manufacturing issue (i.e the writing on the mat was incomplete). The next day I went back to Crown and Fox to exchange it and they were so apologetic, despite it not being their fault. Karissa also went above and beyond in resolving the issue and making sure I left with a positive experience. I will most definitely be back and will be recommending people to go check it out 🙂

Wonderful small town store! I have shopped here since Krystal and Roxanne opened the boutique! The staff offer suggestions if I have any questions and have really got to know me during the years. They have a wonderful selection of items offering everything from clothing to home items. Thank you for the exceptional knowledge, selection, and customer service!
