Was there last week for Ice Dragonboat event and this restaurant is directly across the road from the location. Coming in from -40 it felt so cozy and inviting…from wanting take out we decided to stay and enjoy our meal. Our server Hannah was great and her recommendations were on point…love the peaches and cream cocktail! Highly recommended for dinner or drinks—-either way its good food and great vibe!

We sat on the patio as a family and it was a great view and good atmosphere. I gave it four stars for the food just because my son's didn't 100% like the pizza so I'm not sure if it was because it was a sourdough crust or what but I thought it was amazing. That Sriracha pineapple chicken was super spicy and awesome. Will be back.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Sun of A Beach. We were seated right away in the roof top area. The ambience was nice. Server was quick to get us water and take our orders. Food came at a good pace. I ordered the classic burger and fries! This fries were crack! So delicious and perfectly seasoned. The burger was juicy and probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while.

Washrooms were also clean. No complaints about anything 🙂 would definitely come again!

We enjoyed our dinner and had a good experience. The location is so convenient, just mins away walking distance from the shore. We were greeted and got our seats on the top roof area in a timely manner. The server was friendly.
They were busy during our visit, we waited for a while before getting the server’s attention, thru out the whole dining period.

We ordered two kids meals. The pasta was not too tasty, the kids didn’t like it, it was too plain with little flavour. The chicken fingers and fries would be a better choice. The slush that came with the kid’s meal was too sweet, lots of sugar. We also ordered the White Parardelle Pasta, Lemongrass Chicken Pizza, they were yummy. We will definitely order these two dishes again.

The bathroom and floor was clean. If I am being picky, I would suggest they regularly wash / change the patio chair cushions. The cushions were not clean and had stains all over, we felt a bit of uncomfortable sitting on them.

This establishment was a terrific place to grab a bite with the family. The servers and front end staff were amazing. I felt welcome and very full when I left lol. The food was fantastic! Great atmosphere, a live band was setting up as we were leaving. So many food options. Parking was a bit tough, but it was worth the walk! When I come back to this area again I will definitely be stopping in.

Nice spot with summer vibes and good service. Really enjoyed the chicken tacos but I found the calamari a tad oily and the steak sandwich soggy with fatty bits in the cuts. On the other hand, the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their fettuccine and the chicken burger. Also the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside with a fluffy white interior - perfection. Lastly the cocktails were all delicious, especially the bellini, and the service friendly/attentive.

Absolutely love this place!

Been coming up here every summer from Calgary for the past few years now.

The food is typically top notch… the Dill Pickle Caesar is one of my favorite Caesar’s from anywhere. Their shrimp ceviche is one of my favorite starters.

The service is great, very attentive and friendly. If you want a better seat, just ask!

And that view of the lake on a hot summer day, especially from their beautifully decorated top floor patio. Wow!

It’s all about the vibes man, and this place has certainly got it. Just be sure to make a reservation.

We were a group of four who stopped in for lunch and we had the best food and best experience at SOB! Sarah was our server and did a phenomenal job at checking in, replenishing our waters, and suggesting drinks and meals. We had a balcony table with a great view! I ordered the salmon bowl and it was a beautiful dish that looked like a work of art! Absolutely scrumptious. Also, I was impressed that they had sugar free mocktail options. 100% highly recommend this restaurant.
