Embarking on a culinary journey, I recently had the pleasure of indulging in an Indian takeout feast that tantalized my taste buds. The Chicken Tikka was a masterpiece of flavors, each bite a harmonious blend of spices and tender chicken, grilled to perfection. It was like a Bollywood dance sequence in my mouth - vibrant, energetic, and utterly captivating. Moving on to the Vegetarian Korma, it was a creamy concoction that could easily be the envy of any royal feast. The vegetables were so well-blended with the rich, nutty gravy, I almost expected to find a hidden treasure inside. And let's not forget the Garlic Naan - oh, the Garlic Naan! Each piece was a fluffy cloud of garlicky goodness, the perfect vessel to scoop up every last bit of the korma's luxurious sauce. This meal wasn't just dinner; it was an epic saga of flavor, leaving me eagerly awaiting the sequel.

The space is too dark making it difficult to even read the menu. They had a mop lying out front near main desk which was extremely stinky and hence did not feel good vibes the whole time at the restaurant, hence the 1 star. The food was not at par as well, chai was too watery, not worth it, I can make better myself. The pakoras were not authentic at all, they were onion pakoras that we ordered but it had lots of cabbage instead. Did not meet expectations at all. We were visiting the town for the long weekend, so thought we’d try. It was all empty as well, except for 1 other table. After we got our food, the server was lost the whole time, not even checked in once if everything was good or if we needed something, I had to call her from the back, after waiting for 5 minutes, to get tissues and even when I had to pay. Hence, 1 star for both food and service as well, if I had an option for none, I would do that. Do not recommend and would not be coming back.

Spice Hut is an excellent spot for authentic Indian cuisine! The flavors were vibrant, and every dish had the perfect balance of spices. The menu offers a great variety, from flavorful curries to tandoori specials, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

The food was fresh, served hot, and portions were generous. I particularly enjoyed their butter chicken—it was creamy and rich, paired beautifully with their soft, fluffy naan. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience.

If you’re craving delicious Indian food, Spice Hut is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The food is really amazing and we had a good service from Simran.We had Chicken and beef biriyani very good potions as well also Tandoori chicken wings which is also amazing if your in sylvan lake definitely check the place out highly recommended.

Had an amazing meal this evening at Spice Hut. Inside had a nice vibe and was very clean Fresh popadoms and mango were served right away and were excellent. The butter chicken and tandoori chicken tikka meals were hot and very fresh same with the beef samosas. The portions size was huge which means delicious left overs! Our waitress Jasmine took great care of us! The owner/manager checked in to make sure everything was good and was so friendly! Highly recommended checking out this great restaurant.

The best Indian restaurant I've been to in Canada so far! The flavors are incredibly authentic, and the service is outstanding. Eating here truly transported me back to India, and my Canadian friends loved it too—which made my heart so happy!

Spice hut used to be the best Indian I’ve had. Consistent for years. They’ve recently sold I believe and while their sauces have maintained consistency, whatever they have done to change the chicken has dropped the quality huge. I feel like they re freeze their meat or something, or have changed to a horrible quality chicken. Whatever it is it seems that they have incorporated some sort of cost saving measures hoping we wouldn’t notice, but WE’VE NOTICED. this has been the last 3 times I ordered. I hope they read this and take it seriously as I’m sure everyone else is noticing huge. they know whatever it is that they’ve changed so I hope they change it back before they keep losing good customers. I will go another time but if the meats not back to the awesome way it used to be, I’ll forever leave them as a customer. Let me know when you’ve changed it back and we will be back to enjoy again! -family of 8.

I order Beef Korma. I can’t get over how great this sauce is. The chef uses real spices. The food is amazing! I’ve had this meal in many places around the world and this chef cooks it the best hands down. I called to tell him how wonderful the meal was but it’s not enough so I thought I’d let the world know that if they ever want authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place to get it!
