Very expensive for no reason. We were charged a $350 community for the access to a dog wash. The carpet in the stairwell constantly had stains or garbage strewn all over the place. It would sometimes take days for it to be cleaned. I would come home to the smell of garbage because people would leave their trash outside their apartment for hours. I had over 2g stolen from me by the building maintenance and all they could do was tell me to file a report with them and the police and nothing else was done. And to top it all off we are only receiving $40 back from my damage deposit because we are being charged for thing's they didn’t put in the inspection that we’d be charged for. They harass you constantly about picking up your dog's poop or about where your dog can relieve themselves and then never do anything about the people not cleaning up after their pet. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Yes the apartments themselves are quite nice, if you like having money stolen from you, dog pee stains on your hall carpets, and the smell of garbage everyday. It’ll be perfect for you

These apartments are clean, cheerful and, reasonably quiet. Rent is comparable to other apartments in the area. Management and maintenance staff are very competent and friendly and quick to respond to to your needs. Only drawback for me is lack of a social meeting room. A very pleasant place to live.

Exceptional experience from first inquiry to move in. Though the apartment was previously occupyou would think it was brand new. It is spotless. There was a small.minor chip on the side of the bath which was fixed in just a few days. On site management are friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended

Lakecrest Apartments is a very nice place to live. The people are very nice and the staff is friendly, keep the grounds and the apartment building in good repair. The apartment manager is very approachable and honest. It’s a good place to be.

We've been here for over a year and everything about our experience has been amazing!!

I feel very safe and the building is VERY well taken care of. We really respect and appreciate the staff, as they have been so good to us. Also they're very dog friendly, with doggie bags and bins at the doors and a beautiful wash station

The maintenance and cleaning staff are always working hard to upkeep and improve the grounds and the building. It's easy to tell that our manager has immense pride in creating a beautiful home for everyone here (and I recently told Natasha this, because it's very rare to see with rental companies, in my opinion)

I like that there's staff onsite during the week, and they're responsive to maintenance issues or repairs.

I've only had one or two concerns during my entire time being here and they were handled quickly

As for the rental prices it's not the cheapest place in town, but it's also better than most places in town. I haven't found anything comparable that allows a big dog and a family, for a better price.

It's a beautiful well-kept and managed building that is great for families and people that have pets, in a tourist town... during an unfortunately crazy period of inflation within our country.

I would love to see them consider installing a couple park benches outside for the residents. Or (dreaming) a small space for children to play!

I also wanted to address a couple things I saw in other reviews...

-One mentioned being charged to repair appliances: I had my washing machine repaired and was not charged. As per the rental agreement, general wear and tear has no cost to the client

-I also saw someone state that they were asked for 5 months notice to renew the contract: The agreement that every longterm tenant signs is 2 months from what I'm aware.. I can't speak to their experience, but in my experience I was given the standard 2 months notice before renewing!

We have lived in this apartment for almost a year now and have enjoyed it. The apartment is spacious, it has air conditioning, the hallways and lobby are kept clean and the staff are friendly.
The apartment manager has listened to all of our concerns and acknowledged them in a timely manner and worked hard to address them.
No apartment complex is perfect, there are many people living in close proximity who are very different. This building though manages to be relatively quiet, peaceful and a pleasant place to live.

Update: We have lived here now for 4 years and there has been a change in all staff. Currently there is Natasha the manager at the site who is wonderful. She is friendly and efficient. There is Corey in maintenance who does a great job and is friendly as well. In housekeeping there is Lexi to round out the team. She does a fantastic job and is also friendly! A great trio!
Our apartment has some issues, but they get dealt with in a timely manner and the building is maintained and cared about.

I'm currently a tenant here... been here since the building opened while it was reasonable at the beginning it became clear that this place is owned and managed by a greedy corporation. That doesn't care about their tenants. We had steady increase in rent everytime we renewed our lease of around 100 to 175 dollars. But this year we were slammed with a 400 dollar increase to the price of our unit. And it was for a so-called Community fee not even the rent. Community fee for what exactly? There are no amenities except for a dog wash, the site management is always wanting to come into our unit to inspect it and look for things they can charge us for. They also charge us for parts and labor for major appliances repairs. Although these are pretty nice apartments the corporate greed is not worth it. Our rent is now $1803.00/month for a small 2 bedroom apartment in sylvan lake. Plus electricity, cable and internet... they don't respect a tenants right to have peaceful enjoyment of the property and harass us continually... needless to say they know we are in a housing crisis and are taking full advantage of people. Hopefully we can find a better place to live before our current lease is up as we fear yet another major increase in these places. 1 other thing that grinds my gears is our lease is up in October yet this company gets us to renew our lease 5 months before the end of our lease...
I would highly recommend against renting here...

Very nice one bedroom apt. I moved into. It was clean and very spacious. Have had no problems yet and was treated very well when my husband passed suddenly and I wanted to move. It all happened in about a week and I felt that was very nice of thr manager as I was going through a rough time.
