Chop Shop is a true lifters gym. No wasted space with useless equipment as each specialized machine is as good as it gets for the intended purpose. Amazing variety of bars, handles, straps and benches to suit any and all programs and techniques. Cardio equipment is well thought out and the right number is pieces. Change rooms are clean and well maintained.

24/7 access and online membership purchase is seamless and well priced. Members are polite and friendly, even the bigger dudes whom I like to learn from which is nice.

Can't use any of the leg equipment. Not able to reach full range of motion on hack squat & leg press machine (surprised they've been approved to be in a gym that literally has the word physiques in the name?). Near the end of our memberships we would hit upper body at Stony (more upper equipment but also very old) and legs at Spruce (but don't even get me started on the Spruce location in the evenings...) Foam benches also outdated & not reliable. Shoulder press machine not meant for anyone of a smaller build. Overall super old equipment and mirrors are not cleaned regularly (in that studio area). Even their front of house plant is full of mold and dried up! Anyways, hopefully they bring in some new pieces that actually work!

I have been to a few gyms in my life but never one where the staff make you feel so welcome and I love the periodic check ins via email and text. Clean, affordable and lots of variety of equipment. I am happy with my choice and highly recommend.

Clean, calm and has many machines and items to be used for any level of exercise. Also is very well equipped with enough items to even do a floor routine for those who are in ground zero or recovery from deep injuries.

Great culture, great machine although some of them do show signs of a little too much love(tears), specially Stony plain location. Great assortement of attachments. If you want to build some knarly legs and glutes, this is the gym for you. Spruce grove location is a little crowded but if you rather a little more space, Stony Plain location is quite bigger. You will feel motivated just by being there and seeing other members work their butts off. Been there for 2 weeks and feel in love already and also got my gym partner so join as well and he his liking it a lot more then previous gym.

Today was my first day going to this gym. First time in an actual fitness facility in over 3 years. The staff member on site was super friendly and helpful showing me how to use the 24 hour access app, and shown the sanitary spray station and different areas of the gym
Change rooms are spacious and offer lockers, as well as showers.
and the equipment.. just awesome! So many machines and options for an individuals fitness goals.
The active members of the gym were awesome in showing me new tricks and how to better my form as well.
Left feeling better about myself. And looking forward to going again tomorrow.

Love this gym!!! So convenient that it's open 24 hrs! With 2 kiddos my days get so busy! So it's nice to go in the evenings to have some me time!!! 🥰
