I've had Seaside (Wireless) Internet by line-of-sight to the Baddeck Tower for over ten years now. Their service has been amazingly reliable, and they do fast repairs over the phone or by site visit for the two disconnect episodes over those years. They also allow seasonal disconnect at no charge. I have zero complaints. Their wireless internet connection service is super fine.

Lots of negative reviews but my experience is very positive. Knowledgable, personable and local Staff always answer the phone when you call. The internet is better quality than Bell in my area I had them both. Prices better value than Bell. Happy customer

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I don’t find that I’ve experienced excessive outages with Seaside High Speed. When we lose power it goes out, but that’s to be expected. I find their customer service people friendly and helpful and the tech people are the same. And anyone who thinks Bell would be better to deal with, should live rural like I do. I have to have a landline because Bell Mobility cell service is horrible here. And in the past year my landline has gone dead frequently. It goes out when the power goes out even though there is a battery setup quite close to me that’s supposed to kick in. Their workers have basically said it can be upgraded but Bell isn’t interested in repairing it. Seaside isn’t perfect, but it’s worked well for me.

Seaside set up a bundle at my house phone, internet and cable on Wednesday. Internet only worked for a minute or so, called Thursday morning they said they would be out to check it out on Thursday. Called Friday morning and they say there is a service call set for Monday, so 6 days no internet, totally unacceptable in basic service......with a new account

I have always received great service. Very helpful tech support and they don't make you feel stupid because you don't know alot about the computer I find or at least my interactions have been good.
I love patience, especially because I'm not computer smart but they explain step by step.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Internet down for 2 weeks as that’s the earliest a tech would be available to visit. On hold for over a hour, on the day of the scheduled visit before being told that they couldn’t complete the tech call as the tech assigned to our file could not climb poles due to medical reasons. Unable to give us a time or even day when the pole climbing tech would be able to visit. Mickey Mouse outfit.

Run, run, run!!! We lost internet 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for a tech to come fix it. We have been given the run around for 2 weeks. This is the second time our line goes down in 6 months and getting repair is a complete nightmare. We are only 15 minutes away from
download Sydney in a populated area. Apparently they only have one tech to service the entire county of CBRM. We were scheduled to get repair today but the one tech called in sick so who knows when we will get internet back again!!
Extremely unreliable company who recently got bought out by Rogers. Rogers should be ashamed of itself.

Good in some respects, but have certainly had issues (yeah, like all the others probably). Extra PO'd right now cuz downloading anything from Apple (e.g., software updates) goes at a snail's pace. I'm getting about 1/10 the speed I normally get for any other download, and yet they claim up and down it can't be their fault. Wow. At least own up to your incompetencies...
