It was a huge job, involving tearing out everything except the floors, moving electrical and plumbing, basically removing an interior wall, and installing IKEA cabinets.

We are very happy with the end result. It looks amazing and we have David to thank. He is meticulous, obsessing over precise measurements. He is a very diligent communicator, checking in with us about every detail of the project. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work completed by David and his subcontractors.

There were a small few things that we wish had gone more smoothly on the invoicing and permits side of the renovation, but this does not take away from David's incredible craftsmanship.

We would highly recommend Buildaholics to anyone considering a kitchen renovation, especially if you have a fairly conservative budget.

David worked with me on a residential high rise development. I had him install doors in 600+ suites. He is a hard worker, punctual and gives attention to detail. We were looking to get some shade for our south facing deck. I was not a fan of pergolas, as I always pictured the classic style. After doing more research I came up with a “vision” of how I would like my pergola to look. I photoshopped my “vision” with a picture of my deck along with a quick dimensions drawing & sent them to several contractors. After meeting with a few of them, David was the one that really understood my vision. Even when I had not chosen a contractor yet, he encouraged me to asked him questions about anything small or large, and I did in which he answered them with confidence.
During the project, he was very easy to work with (yes, he let me help) and to talk to! From planning to completion, he had my vision and understanding in mind through the whole project. David is very detail oriented which was perfect for my OCD. I will definitely be contacting him for future projects! I think I’m in love...

Hello everybody. I write reviews only in two cases, when I am satisfied with the work or service and when I am completely upset. Now that is the case when I admire the David's work. There was nothing to complain about. David looks young, but at work you can judge that he already has a lot of experience, and in addition to everything, he is very neat. Buildaholics constructed a large detached garage for us, 22 x 24 ft. Dave was a pleasure to work with from the first call to project completion. His design experience and knowledge of building codes made the planning stage a pleasure. When we discovered that the existing concrete pad was flawed, the adjustment of cost to tear it out and pour a new pad was reasonable. Dave is easy to contact and communicates clearly. In my 30 years of home ownership, I haven't had a better contractor. Dave is a gem!
