I visited the clinic on Sunday morning, July 13th, and was initially very pleased that I was assisted just a few minutes after walking in. I was seen by a female doctor (MC), who diagnosed me with a cold sore simply by visual observation and prescribed me an antiviral pill and cream. She advised me to return in a week if my condition didn’t improve.

However, the next morning, my condition worsened. I called another clinic to seek a second opinion, but they advised me to go directly to the Emergency for proper treatment. At the hospital, I was promptly assisted, examined by another female doctor, and underwent a swab test. I was then diagnosed with a different condition and was advised to stop taking the previously prescribed medication.

After starting the new treatment from the Emergency and filling the correct prescription, I began to feel significantly better. I’m still in disbelief that a diagnosis was made without any proper testing by this doctor. What if the medication I was initially given had caused harm?

I’m thankful that I trusted my instinct to seek a second opinion, and I’m relieved that I did. I sincerely hope that this kind of situation does not happen to any of your future patients.

I unfortunately needed to see a Doctor while on holiday and went for a walk in appointment at the Banff Alpine Medical Clinic. They were so helpful and cheerful. I waited less than an hour to be seen by one of the doctors who prescribed just what I needed which enabled me to enjoy the rest of my holiday. I could not praise them enough.

Got injured on a hike while on vacation and walked in to this clinic for treatment. The best care I’ve ever received at any medical facility. Every staff member went above and beyond from the front desk to nurse to doctor and treated me with immense kindness. I wish I lived here so they could be my PCP.

I have had multiple times that I had to visit the clinic. And it's sad to say that I haven't had a single visit with appropriate care.

Ribs weren't broken, turned out they were broken.
Prescribed medication that hasn't been available for a couple years. Took too long to get the appropriate medicine. About (4 to 5 days)
Won't recommend coming in for a travel consultant either. Doctor prescribes unnecessary medication and out dated advice.

We were passing through on a holiday and this was the first clinic we saw accepting walk in patients. I wish we lived here so we could continue on with the care we received. From the moment we entered the clinic everyone was extremely kind. I was incredibly impressed with Dr. Mboma. He was amazing with our two very sick young children. He was thorough and listened to everything we had to say. His bedside manner with our two young children was impeccable. He was extremely thoughtful and caring. I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Mboma to anyone. Thank you again.

I highly recommend this clinic, the staff are patient and kind! Recently I needed attention quickly and they were able to accommodate me quickly despite being so busy, and I am so grateful. I felt listened and tended to.
Also recommend Dr. Triska, she is kind and thoughtful and took great care of me during my pregnancy!

I've been a patient at this clinic for almost ten years. The doctors have been amazing and very patient with me despite this clinic's busy nature!

I would especially like to thank Dr Jane Folke for her years of brilliant service to me through all my difficult injuries and illnesses. Dr Clem is awesome too, sorry you moved!!
