A fun thrift shop stop in Digby, although I didn't end up finding anything there. It's located a street or two over from the main touristy street in Digby (a short walk). It was pretty crowded around 11 AM on a weekday (I guess I was there on a "bag day") and it's not a very big place.

Love this place on the whole. So greatfull for it here. Just a few challenges. Most of the volunteers and employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are generally good to great. Some is priced the same by item. They have raised prices some twice in the last while. Adult tops & pants are $3, dresses and coats/jackets $6. Sometimes things get overpriced. A clue is if it sits there a long time. Cushions are $3. Some are really small and some large. Some things get put together in sealed bags that have nothing to do with each other. I might just want one thing and don’t want to pay for all of it. Bag days are good for some things. Just be mindful you’re not paying more than you would paying for individual items.
Sometimes they get so many donations they can’t keep up. A blessing. 💝 They’re always looking for volunteers if anyone is looking to.
I would like to see less going into the garbage. So much can be repurposed. Torn clothes can be made into fabric yarn and made into rugs +, quilts, or patched artistically. Stains can be similar if they can’t be removed. I’ve seen people throwing away perfectly good clothes that just had some underarm stains (not here). Vinegar should get them out. Other items may be upcycled into new usefull things. So much inspiration online for home and garden. I find challenging times to be greatfull opportunities for creativity.
Unfortunately there are people in the parking lot who do not respect themselves or others, in smoking…where people have to walk by and be exposed to the toxic laden fumes. The signs clearly say no smoking within 25 feet of the building. Clearly the smoking is reducing oxygen to their brains, (and the rest of their bodies) affecting their sense-abilities. Even sitting there in their cars smoking with windows open is just as bad. (Some also leave vehicles running while waiting or in the store). They have no rights to take others rights to breathe fresh, clean air away. I know it bothers many and many are not willing to speak up. I am. I can’t breathe. My body tells me to stay away. 25 ft isn’t enough even, if the breeze is blowing the smoke towards anyone. I lost my mom to cancer directly connected to smoking. She was just 43. She’d have just turned 80. 💔

The man saying it’s not here and is now a tattoo studio is confused with Sissiboo Seconds, on Montague, which closed up last year

Love to shop this store as their prices are very reasonable. Plus they have scheduled bag days which you can fill a bag for
(sm) $5.00 or (lg) $10.00. From clothes to housewares and holiday decor, there’s something for everyone.
Staff is friendly and they accept cash or debit.
If you love thrifting you should check it out. 😊

If you enjoy Thrift shopping this is the place for you. Most of the products are grouped together in bins, craft/hobby, dishes, baskets, bedding/towels, ladies blouses etc. at waist level(very easy to look through).
The space is clean and staff are pleasant.
They are a cash only shoppe.
