I ordered a sign June 9 and picked it up August 23. I was told the delivery was 2-3 weeks. The whole 8+ weeks I had to contact them asking the status of my order. I cancelled my order 2x and asked for my money back and both times I was told it was ready. Upon pick up I did not get what was asked for. I paid $169 for and “outdoor” sign and the workmanship is like it was done in 10minutes. The Loon in the center was supposed to be hand painted. The sign is done on pressed wood so if it got wet, it would swell and fall apart..there’s no way I can hang this outside. You can see from the pictures there is no pride in the making of this sign. Very disappointed. I’ve asked to return the sign and get my money back. Would not recommend this company. The customer service is awful and they should’nt be in business!

I bought a gift card for my mother. She happily accepted the money. However, now I’m trying to use the gift card- it’s been over one year since I placed the order. I reach out- message and call often with no hope in sight.

This is ridiculous.

Update: It’s now been almost a year and a half- with no hope in sight.

Disappointing Experience with Tall Pines Sign Co.

I want to share my recent experience with Tall Pines Co to caution others who might be considering their services. Our group of 12 booked a workshop well in advance, but the entire process turned out to be unprofessional and disappointing.

The communication from Tall Pines Co was disorganized, with messages being ignored and excuses made about not seeing group messages. On the day of the scheduled workshop (December 3rd), Tall Pines Co abruptly canceled, leaving our group in the lurch despite having booked well in advance.

Some of our group managed to attend the next weekend's workshop, only to face further problems. The promised "custom cut" pieces weren't cut and some had to just pick what was available.

Despite assurances that the "custom cut" signs were ready, it's almost February, and we're still without them. Attempts to arrange pickup have gone unanswered, and Tall Pines Co refuses a refund, claiming the signs were cut.

During the workshop, Tall Pines Co turned away a group that had booked and traveled over an hour to attend, showing a lack of consideration for customers.

At $80 per person for our group of 12, the workshop wasn't cheap. The lack of professionalism and fulfillment of services makes this experience wholly unacceptable. Consider this a buyer beware notice. If you're looking for a reliable and professional workshop experience, I'd strongly advise against considering Tall Pines Co based on our regrettable encounter.

I did a workshop with her in spring of 2023. With 6 other ppl. It went so smoothly and we enjoyed it so much we booked for her Xmas sign shop, a group of 12, prepaid 2 months in advance. Day of she was sick, Totally understandable. Some of us could rebook for the following weekend, she was suppose to have the others ready for pick up mostly painted as per her offer. One of the 4 ppl who when for the rebook signs wasn’t even available and considering it was all suppose to be ready the previous weekend found it strange. The other 8 ppl signs were NOT ready so she made arrangements at that time to pick up that week. Well it’s not almost end of Jan and with little contact they have asked for a refund and it’s become apparent that she’s unwilling to. And to add to that the whole experience has soured ppls opinion of even going.

I will not order from Tall Pines Sign Co. again because of poor customer service. After I put through my order, I did not hear from her in 12 weeks. She did not respond to my emails when I followed up on my order, so I called and left a message. When it was finished and brought it home, it was missing pieces. After going back and forth trying to find a time to pick up the pieces with her, I gave up. She should have offered to mail the pieces to me, since they were small.

If you want to contact Tall Pines Sign, do not email - she will never respond. You get quicker response by calling and leaving a message. Though, she doesn't call you back, she sends an email. But you can't respond to that email because she doesn't respond back. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been trying to contact tall pines for weeks now and no responses. She booked my group for a class and when we showed up she said there wasn’t one tonight and she booked us for the following evening.

Barely an apology. Didn’t own up to her mistake. I had out of town people drive over and hour to make it for this class.

Ask for a refund for some signs and for the others to be painted (by her, her suggestion)

No responses. No solutions. Paid her almost $400 and nothing.

Communication is HORRIBLE. 100% do not recommend. Awful way to run a business

I would recommend never ordering from here. Delivery time was stated to be max 12 weeks. I contacted at that point and she hadn't even started making my sign. I followed up weekly for the next few weeks. It was finally ready for pickup a few weeks later. When I picked it up it was nothing like the photo. The quality was extremely poor, the materials subpar and was missing pieces. I contacted her asking for it to be fixed, and sent her photos of all the issues.. She said she would make me a new one. Week after week I followed up and was told excuse after excuse. Then one day she told me it would be ready the following week. I contacted on the date it was supposed to be ready and she had another excuse that didn't even make sense. I eventually got refunded my money 6 months after I initially ordered and paid for my sign.

Ordered signs over 6 months before I actually received them. I had to basically harass her in order to get them, multiple excuses over and over as to why she couldn’t get them to me, AFTER I had paid. I even asked her to give me my money back to which she said she would do the signs asap and not to worry, I didn’t get them for another 3 months after that.
After receiving the signs, they were clearly thrown into the machine, no sanding or any finishing work done. Missing multiple pieces I requested, and the pieces that were included weren’t even what I asked for.
10/10 would not recommend wasting your PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY here!!!!
