We were visiting Parry Sound so I finally got to come here and wow. It is a bit overwhelming lol. But what a cool place! I can definitely say I've never been to a used bookstore like this. The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, and despite being overwhelmed, I managed to end up leaving here with 5 books for myself and 1 for my partner. Definitely recommend coming here, but make sure you have time to take a look around!

Endless shelves of books. Set aside some time to browse, there really is something for everyone. From kids books to novel series and best sellers they have them all. Also have puzzles for sale.

來parry sound 旅遊意外發現這間在大街上的二手書店，沒想到裡面書多到爆，堆積如山，但是分類詳細，且每區都貼心準備有舒適座椅讓你好好選擇，品嚐後再購買，孫女很愛讀取，所以在現場留連忘訪，真是難得一見的旅遊經驗

What an amazing experience! The owner was an absolute delight to speak with. She took the time to talk to me about some history of the place, how they order in some books for special orders and we just chatted about books for about 30 minutes! If you plan on stopping in, be ready to be here for hours! For a used bookstore with over 350 000 books, the aisles are easy to walk through with ample space for all!

This is my favourite store. I’ve been buying books from Bearly Used Books since I was 6 or 7 about 26 years ago! I’m pretty sure the first book I ever bought myself with my own money was from this shop when they were still next to Radio Shack on Bowes St. They’re as wonderful today as they were back then.

Budget friendly, fantastic selection, personable staff great books… what’s not to love?! I even have books put on hold via social media! They’re quick to respond. 10/10 would recommend! Because it’s a used bookstore, the selection is ever changing and it’s never the same selection twice.

Even now, I am sure to stop by every time I come for a cottage visit. I could spend all day shopping at Bearly Used Books!

IMHO, everyone needs BUB in their life. The store just brings me so much joy!
