The service was slow and it was not busy. Took awhile for the food to come out. There was no a/c on. It was 33 degrees outside so you kind of assume that there would be a/c on or at least a little more comfortable than outside. I was sweating and so were my kids. Very uncomfortable to eat and be so hot. Food was excellent. Except I did order the baby plate for mini pancakes which is free and I was charged for a kids serving of pancakes. 5 pancakes for 9.00. Now I know that 9 dollars isn’t a lot but when it was supposed to be free it is a lot and my baby can’t eat 5 pancakes. I just wanted the 2 mini ones. I just paid for it cause I didn’t want to complain to the waitress. It was her mistake for taking my order wrong which is fine she just seemed too inexperienced to be honest. Everybody has to start somewhere. This just wasn’t my best experience here this time around.

Photos below are how we left our plates. This particular meal was not very appetizing and hurt my stomach. I asked for hollandaise sauce instead of cheese sauce and was served what is pictured below. It didn’t look or taste like hollandaise sauce. I think it might of just been the particular plate we ordered because everything else the people we came with got looked good, so I probably would have given the restaurant another try.
We did ask to have one plate taken off, even though we both barely ate. They would only take 10% because “it was still food they made for us” and the hollandaise sauce “is not how it would normally come”. If you can’t make hollandaise sauce just say so. You got the extra $20 out of us today but lost a future customer. The waitress was very nice however. I would recommend putting ice in all the drinks you serve.

The server was fast, very friendly and got our orders right. The bacon and eggs were exactly as I ordered. The washroom was clean and stocked.

I'm going to give this location a solid 4 stars , I arrived right at the peak of the lunch rush there was only 3 staff working the dining area , it took a few minutes to be seated but that's fine , I observed a few of the patrons grumbling about the service but if you'd open your eyes and see that the 3 ladies where running their tails off to make sure everyone was happy but that's typical of most people, my meal arrived within 10 minutes of me ordering, soup was tasty burger was alright too , just average food which I expected from a chain restaurant, I received several quality checks which was awesome , paid my bill and the hostess - waitress- bus lady apologized for the wait and I stated dont apologize to me the service was great , I visited the washrooms on my way out and they were immaculate, paper towels instead of hand dryers so I could open the door without using my bare hands anyways, great experience and hats off to the staff for their hard work today

Classic Humpty’s out west. Has great breakfast selection, awesome prices, and a new points program. Service at this one is particularly good and the locale is very nice, a good refresh from some of their older locations. Be adventurous and try some of their off the wall breakfasts like perogy or banger Benedict. Will be a frequent of ours in Cold Lake.
