I brought in 3 very old (100+ years) photographs that I wanted to frame. They were incredibly helpful and informative in choosing the mat, frame and glass so that the final product looks amazing. I am so pleased with the care and quality of the framing and the price point was very reasonable. Highly recommend and such a nicer experience than using big box store framing.

I visited Surrounding Memories about 3 weeks ago, wanting to get custom framing done for two prints as a gift for Father's Day. The owner was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process and she helped me find affordable options that suited my budget. I know most projects can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks, but she offered to rush it for me when I mentioned my Dad would be visiting me from Toronto on the weekend of June 24 so I could give it to him then. I was thrilled! I would rate this experience 5-stars.

On the Friday (June 23) I tried calling the store a few times to confirm that my order would be ready for pick-up the next day, but couldn't get through. The answering machine advised to send an email, so I did through their website. No response.

On the Saturday (the 24th, the day I wanted to give the frame to my Dad), I went to the store in hopes that the frame would be ready, only to find a sign on the front door that read, "closed from June 24-26".

I hope the store wasn't closed due to unforeseen circumstances and everything is okay; however I wish I was notified/updated.

At the end of the day, I know eventually I will have something to give to my Dad and he will understand; however I was/am extremely disappointed.
