Just had great customer service from Amy and Andy the technician who promptly fixed our internet connection after we removed old vinyl siding and needed to prep area for the new siding. We lost our internet service in this transition and Amy arranged same day service. Andy attended and upgraded everything from the older technology. I wish I could give them zero stars. They had technicians out laying new lines, they cut our Internet lines and then when contacted said it wasn’t their fault or concern. But they cut our lines? Now we have no internet and they took no accountability for it. Frustrating and irresponsible.

EDIT: I cannot reply to their post below - but it is your responsibility to know or check where other companies lines are before you cut. And when we discussed compensation for our internet being off for days, you absolved yourselves of any responsibility. It's entirely your fault, you took no onus for it and its negligent.

Company needs to have a policy for installers to take their garbage. Recently found a 16 ft length of conduit in my bush. Also they left over 200 ft of old fiber optic in various spots on my lawn or in the bush. This stuff does not decompose!! The installer made a concerted effort to get rid of the conduit 60 ft from the pole!! Lakeland it is your garbage not mine so you need to deal with it!! I maintain a 500ft boulevard in front of my house that drivers throw garbage out , so don't need to clean up after a professional business!!!!!

Great price and customer service, but extremely unreliable connection, especially in heavy rain or snow. I work from home exclusively, which has become nothing short of a nightmare since using this ISP. Unfortunately, choices are limited up here, so I'm stuck with it.

Edit: within 24 hours of receiving my review, the team at Lakeland investigated my service issues and made the changes needed for my connection to be more reliable. They reached out to me after they had fixed the issue as well, in order to get more information so they could make it even better. As stated in my original review, the customer service is great! They really went above and beyond to fix the issue. You can't get that kind of service with the big name ISP's.

Second edit: several days later and no response to either of my emails.... Just an updated service contract, locking me into an additional two years of horrible internet. Their changes to correct my issues lasted a whole afternoon before going south again.
My current speed is 22kbps.. Fairly certain I signed up for 2 GB, but I digress. Should have just stuck with Rogers or Bell.
