Been a customer for 5 years, doesn't feel like it. Taken months to migrate from V1 to V2 subscriptions because I cant get someone on the phone to answer questions, and when I did, they are little to no help. I really like the app, but customer support is lacking in the phone department. I hope phone support changes in the future with more knowledgeable staff available to walk people through migrations and technical issues. I'll update this review should anything change, but at this point its affecting business.

Update: Issue finally resolved, upgrading this to a 3 star, however still wasn't happy about the experience.

This app is so perfect! Our web developers added another app to manage our subscriptions and while it was pretty simple to use, it was visually awful and lacked a lot of the features we wanted. I am a HUGE fan of Bold and have had five of their apps on my other store since 2015. I reached out and had a couple of live video chats with Peter. He literally held my hand and walked me through setting up the box. Then when it was time to migrate the original customers over from the other app, Alysha and Ashley were beyond amazing. Unfortunately, I have had to do everything myself because paying the developers gave me results I was not happy with. I used their live chat feature for a lot of little questions (how to manage customers accounts on the back end, how to offer discount codes, etc). Daniel was BEYOND patient with me and answered every question with detail for me to understand. I honestly don't know what I would have done without the four of them. The app is worth every penny. The customer service they gave me was truly going above and beyond. And the cool thing is that they each independently helped me. I don't know how to thank them enough.

Way more trouble that they are worth. The Shopify apps seem to offer the features you need but many have bugs or well hidden limitations (and clashes with their other apps) that make it so hard to work with them without huge compromises. Support is now slow or automated and simply not good enough. I have now moved all my apps to other providers who are a breath of fresh air compared to Bold.

Excellent app so far. We have an online jewelry store, so we are always in the need of changing prices for a large number of items for every special sale, flash sales, season sale, etc., and Bold Discounts App came extremely helpful for us. The tech support team is excellent, their assistance is always friendly, professional and fast, very effective I must say, they have always made us feel relaxed and confident that they will always be accessible and friendly solving our doubts. So far we´re happy. Thanks Daniel and all the team members that have given us assistance at some point. All of them; AWESOME!

Without a doubt, one of the BEST apps I'm using for my shop. The ability to not only add options, but also add conditional options, has been a game changer for my business. Special thanks to Mona and Aman for the 5-star service they provided as I migrate to a new theme. I ran into a couple of issues and they resolved them in record time. Use the app on two of my stores now and plan to use it on two more that I am working on. Always prompt, great, customer service. One of the reps, Raphael, solved my latest install request quickly and to my satisfaction. Great app with lots of customization. Helpful staff and prompt responses to all requests. I tried other apps out there and as they almost have the same features Bold seems to be on top of things and will respond quickly whenever I have a question or modification request.

This app has been second to none for Pounds Coffee! We focus on roasting craft coffees that everyone can enjoy at home, and the Recurring Orders app by Bold allows us to hang on to happy customers by giving them the option to set up flexible subscriptions.

All of that is good, but truly the best part of this app, and all Bold apps, is the service that you receive from their entire team.
