I have to say this, I've always liked the fellas here at B&D but today I was put on hold 3 times for over 5 mins leading me to hang up, called one last time and the lady who has been answering was very quick and rude. I asked a could questions regarding a sealed unit I was going to order and she plain and simple said it only comes one way, you get what you get. I've worked and owned a family glass business for over 28 years, retired now..Thanks B&D

Quoted more than double the price for a windshield replacement compared to literally every other shop in Pictou and Colchester county (I've got a list). Call around first!

We are on vacation and got a chip in our windshield. These guys were fantastic to fix it on a Saturday promptly and with friendliness. Great customer service. We’d come back! (and hope we aren’t…haha)

My experience with b and d glass was amazing 10/10. My fob for my key broke and I lost the transmitter inside it they had an extra few new keys in stock and were able to program it to the car and get it out of anti theft mode even tho the dealership said only a dealership knows how to take it out of anti theft mode this service and key was about 250$ plus tax and was able to provide the service the same day I asked them and even worked after hours to get it done for me because of how urgent I needed it fixed.

Writing my first ever review of a business here. Its a long one. Please bare with me

Went at the shop for my car's windshield replacement. They did it well but when i started driving, i felted an air leak from the right corner. I could literally hear my engine sound from inside. Went there back to check. They said it would take 5 days to seal completely. After 5 days went back to them with the leak. They said they are gonna reseal it and gave me an appointment for next day. Went back again next day, they fixed it. Still the same problem with it. And they said the same thing( will take 5 days to completely seal).
Went back after 5 days, they said they gonna take the glass off and put a new one without any additional cost. Got my car in the evening and everything was back to normal. No more leak 😊
2 days after it rained in truro. I turned my automatic wipers ON. And it didnt worked.
Called them and went back again for the 4th time to them. They said they do not touch at the wipers and they do only work with glasses. And they said it might be a mechanical issue and have to contact mazda ( my car make). Went there and the people at mazda said it might be the issue with gel pad which is attached with the glass to sense the moist. Went back again to b&d. They put a new gel pad infront of me. But still didnt work well. Went back to mazda. They inspected my car and said its the bracket which covers the sensor not attached properly. Which clearly is the problem of the glass shop to not fixing it properly.
If they have given more attention, this wouldnt have happened
I have travelled back and forth for like 5 times just for replacing a windshield. Which in total took like 20+ days after my first appointment.
Paid an extra $109 to fix the bracket
And feel so bad with their response.

I foolishly put a rock through my cottage window, via the ride on mower. I thought I would have to replace the whole window, but B&D Glass Ltd. cut new glass and installed it perfectly! Great service and fantastic guys. Thanks so much!

Let me start by saying the staff here are amazing. Not only did they cut my key insert, they did not even charge me to do so. They also gave me a fantastic price on a new fob, programming and key insert cut. I will definitely be getting all my keys cut here from now on. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get keys cut or fobs programmed to come here.
