Scotian Roots was so amazing at every step of our renovations (full bathroom gut and kitchen counters, appliances, and backsplash). Brad was comprehensive in his quote and asked questions other contractors didn’t. He took his time to ensure he understood our needs and gave thoughtful advice. Once the work started, Rob and his crew was wonderful! Respectful of our time and our house with a keen eye for all the small details. Even when unexpected things came up, Rob went above and beyond to find creative solutions and made every effort to ensure we were happy with the final work. These renovations helped us make a new to us home… feel like ours! Thank you Scotian Roots!!!! We will definitely call you again for future projects!!

We hired Scotian Roots to build us our deck and fence this summer, and we are so thankful we did. Not only are they professional, reliable, and dependable, but a really great group of guys too. Our first experience with Scotian Roots was after Hurricane Fiona caused some minor damages to our deck. Brad and his team were quick to respond and fix things like new. We were impressed and asked them to take on a complete remodel of our ensuite bathroom. They did a fabulous job and turned a tired old space into a fresh, modern design that we are thrilled to use. Throughout the bathroom project, they kept us completely informed of progress and took great precautions to minimize any disruptions, dust etc. We look forward to having them return in a few months to completely redo our deck. We highly recommend Scotian Roots for any of your general contracting needs. They are true professionals and the pride they take in their work really shows.

We hired Brad and his company to construct a platform deck along the water in our backyard. We are so happy with it! We use it all the time and it gets rave reviews from everyone who sees it! They were very professional and the craftsmanship is top notch. Even with a modern look and beautiful design it came in right on budget! Brad and his team just finished fencing our yard for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the work they did! Brad and his team were punctual, professional, tidy, and are a group of true craftsmen - our fence and pergola gate are true works of art on a difficult rocky yard with lots of mature trees and roots to navigate. Brad and his team at Scotian Roots built a car and a half garage that was destroyed after Fiona hurricane this summer. To start Brad is a perfectionist demanding the highest degree of excellence, no short cuts were taken even as the rain dampened most of their time during construction. I was very impressed as to the team mentoring a young man in his first summer working in this trade and hopefully will continue after finishing school. I am planning on adding a roof to my home and guaranteed Scotian Roots will be my first call.
