DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. This is the truck they arrived with. The truck used to tow it wasn’t even close to the weight rating to safely transport this crumbling tin can trailer, they sent this for a 2+1bdrm home move + backyard items. They couldn’t fit everything, the movers were NOT EXPERIENCED, from effectively loading items for space, to loading items for safe secure transport, down to using a reliable and road worthy moving truck. See photos for ground clearance. About 4” at best. See photos for gaping holes where my belongings were exposed to elements, rain ect. Photos how the gate wasn’t even operable but mcguiver got it jarred closed, but open and completely exposed to let rain in . Their overnight storage is whoever was contracted out for the moves DRIVEWAY. They planned to bring this truck onto the 401 and back to North York (from Belleville/Quinte West) to “store” it in THEIR DRIVEWAY. (I paid $200 for overnight storage at a local warehouse facility as stated when i booked) this company is a complete scam. They demanded payment before completing the job, I thought okay, fair, but as per damage claim, you must inspect items before they leave, well you can’t because they get you on the phone for payment then usher you outside to inspect truck is empty, then they take off faster than lighting McQueen. My 55” tv screen was smashed, and you can see their handprints where the major break occurred, we even wrapped our items for them to milk the hourly rate by unwrapping and rewrapping with the exact same materials .
Now, the company customer service, they dodge calls, see the number and know who’s calling, and then hang up. I’ve spent 7 days trying to get an INVOICE for the move; then 5 days to confirm they recieved my damage claim. Conveniently, they only give you 5 days to report damage with claim form so naturally they hung up, didn’t answer calls and ignored emails until those 5 days passed. Then I finally got my invoice, BECAUSE MY PARTNER CALLED FROM HIS PHONE NUMBER and they answered. Initially while movers completed the job, I was making payment on phone, and they tried to bill me 3800$ , I asked how For whatthen the guy on the phone “recalculated” apologized and said 2380$ - I asked for an invoice to be sent , never got it, not until my partner called and they answered, they said they’ll send it out , then it never came, I called the next day, finally got it. Then I see they charged me overnight storage, when in fact the mover wanted to leave it in my driveway so he didn’t have to tow it back to North York and it would save me money .. but getmovers billed me anyways $200 to park it in my own driveway. They took items apart beyond what the manufacturers recommend disassembling like bassinet, crib side bars, springs off frame, chairs - they didn’t put the bolts and parts of those items back with the object and some were found in my grass and garden , they left cigarette butts all over my neighbors front porch and our driveway, nobody spoke English and the lead who spent his time removing loaded truck items to reorganize them (milking an hourly rate due to inexperienced movers and scammy protocol) he did speak limited broken English but he demanded speaking to a MALE AND NOT MYSELF, who booked the service and can effectively communicate being multilingual.. but I was dismissed and asked for a man to talk to . Unacceptable behaviour from the movers and the company, during and after the move. Their branded cube van is soley promotional for advertising, they don’t arrive in a nice moving truck and they don’t have an honest business practice. I promise these reviews are fake, and you need to look into the moving scams popular in gtathere has been multiple news stations cover this and I strongly regret not researching this company more deeply. What could have been a 5hr job max was milked for every hour. not to mention along with the disheveled trailer, they had no equipment to move items, just their 2 hands. No dolly, cart, nothing, in fact they used my decorative garden stones as a wedge for trailer
