We recently used PFC for a 6hr charter and our overall experience was fantastic! The wind forecast for the original day we booked was going to be borderline for going out. Capt Pete said to me we could definitely fish it but I am not sure how enjoyable it may be. We worked with him to come up with another date and a couple days later we were out on the water to absolutely beautiful conditions. I appreciated his detail to not only safety but our overall experience. We had 7 people in our party and everyone managed to get a fish, 3 rainbow trout and 4 lake trout. Between the knowledge sharing, conversations and catching of the fish the time just flew right by. I have already spread the word to a couple of people about PFC and I'm sure this isn't the last time you will see us. Thanks Capt Pete

Today we went fishing 7/29/25 with Captain Pete and our family of 5 (kids 9,12 and 14) had a fantastic time! We booked a 4 hour trip and we all reeled in two fish. Our kids absolutely loved it. Captain Pete was friendly and very informative. We would highly recommend using Port Franks Charters!

Went out today on Father’s Day with my grandpa, sister and cousin. Was a beautiful day on the lake, caught almost a dozen walleye. Had so much fun, relaxed, and learned so much from Captain Pete. Highly recommend going out on a charter with Port Franks Charters with a group of friends or family. You don’t have to be experienced in fishing as Captain Pete knows what he’s doing making it a fun and easy time. He cleaned and fillet the fish we caught and packed it up in a cooler bag to keep it fresh for us to take home.

Our family enjoyed an almost perfect day fishing with Captain Pete. We were catching fish within 1/2 an hour of leaving the marina. In six hours of fishing we caught 6 walleye, 1 salmon ,1 lake trout and 1 volleyball. Yes it was a volleyball. Thanks again Captain Pete.

We booked a fishing charter with Port Franks Fishing Charter on Lake Huron for the husband’s Birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The morning was absolutely beautiful, the lake calm, and the fish were biting-especially the walleye, which we caught plenty of and enjoyed for diner that night.
Captain Pete and his wife Beth were so welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. They made the whole trip enjoyable, relaxed and fun. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and want you to have a great time out on the water.
Highly recommend this charter if you’re looking for a great fishing trip on Lake Huron. We’ll definitely be back!

We took a morning 6 hour charter with a group of 4 for my brother’s bachelor celebration, and we had a fantastic time. Captain Pete was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and a great guide, taking us on a very successful trip. Will definitely look to book again!
