This company is phenomenal to deal with. I was part of and close to the project through planning all the way through to my local Entegrus energy meter swap. It's one of the best looking solar panel setups I have ever seen and they coordinated the entire construction of the system with my contractor who was working on my Steel Roof. The communication was flawless through the project phase as well as their billing team / customer service ladies. Exceptional experience and would recommend this company to anyone looking for a one stop shop Green Energy solution.

I interviewed and got quotes from 4 solar install companies and they not only had the best rate but they also had the most informed up to date staff. I had gotten quotes on solar energy many years ago under the microFIT program, but didn't go ahead with it for one reason or another. But I knew it was something we'd do for our home. And without rushing into it, I had lots of time to ask around. One company kept coming back as being the best option: Bluewater. I talked to a few people who had had them install in previous years, and they gave strong recommendations.

John from Bluewater took me through different options, consulting with others from their team when needed, adjusting size and panel versions till we got to the right set-up. It was great to see the "heat map" production forecasting software that took into account tree shading and house orientation. Neither is ideal in our older neighbourhood but we still managed to configure 23 panels that are productive.

I'd recommend John Watson and Bluewater to anyone who wants to explore residential solar. They know their stuff.

Bluewater installed a full Tesla Powerwall 3 system with 40 solar panels on our garage, and tied it in to our (now seldom used) backup propane generator.
Through the entire process, the entire team was knowledgeable, supportive and very responsive. We are very pleased with their system and their professional work.

We had solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed by Bluewater Energy in Guelph - an authorized Tesla Powerwall installer. We are delighted with the way the Powerwall 3 runs our house during Mid-peak and Full-peak electricity rate periods, and charges back up at night on off-peak rates.  It's nice to know that we are helping reduce gas fired Peaker-plant operation and reducing our carbon footprint.
It is also great to have our lights on during power outages.  We have about 24 hours run time available during outages and the PW3 is WiFi connected for weather information (and software updates).  If it determines that adverse weather is forecast, it immediately charges itself up to ensure maximum run time during an outage. Smart!
We had to have an Energy Audit done to qualify for the Federal $40,000/10yr interest-free lone, but Bluewater works with EnergyWerx and this was done within days at a cost of $250 for each of the pre and post audits.
Our 20 solar panels are projected to produce enough electricity to run our house and charge an EV for 20,000 kms/yr! So we could also replace all our gasoline purchases too! And we're future proofed against increased cost of electricity. Net metering balances the fact that solar energy is mainly produced in the summer months. We'll actually offset more peaker-plant operation in summer when A/C loads are high.
Bluewater Energy's excellent planning and installation staff handled everything, efficiently and to a high standard. A quality job all round!
