I completed a voiceover project for this company with a December 1, 2024 deadline, and on April 7, 2025, I still haven't been paid. I've had to chase to get any answers and have simply been told to be patient.
As freelance talent, waiting over 127 days (four months!) to be paid is unacceptable, and well beyond the acceptable payment period in the industry.

The platform is rather simple to utilize and clean. It is not a steep learning curve to get started and everything flows well. As others stated, the platform fee is high, but I also understand it's fair, too. The site does all the managerial work and allows for smooth communication. Overall, the site is highly recommended. WARNING! SCAM ALERT!

I have had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this so-called company “Voices.” After completing my assignment and having my work approved by the client, they took the payment from the client but REFUSED TO PAY ME. I have been chasing them for over 3-4 months now, and they keep making excuse after excuse.

The biggest liar in this whole scam is Kimone Reid-Henry, who has been emailing me false promises. Over a month ago, she told me that my payment had been sent and I would receive it in 8 business days—guess what? NOTHING HAS ARRIVED! She is completely untrustworthy and is clearly part of this scam operation.

I’m fed up, frustrated, and disgusted by how this company operates. DO NOT TRUST THEM—they are frauds, liars, and SCAMMERS! Be careful, or you’ll end up just like me, waiting for months for money you earned and will never receive.

As a new Voice Over Artist for almost a year now I used the "Voices" platform for auditions and it landed me my first client. It was exciting, to say the least when I saw that "Your Hired" email come in. I use various other platforms as well but "VOICES" broke the ice for me so I'm forever grateful and will continue using this platform to audition for future opportunities! Aside from the fact that it's easy to use with a direct and straight forward approach. You get what you pay for. You have the option to negotiate within the budget range being offered and the platform does get a percentage but that's no different than having an agent or a manager that gets a percentage of your bookings. "VOICES" is providing me with the opportunities so why shouldn't they get a share! If you're a VO Artist/Actor just beginning your career or need to make a fresh start then VOICES is a sure bet!
