I am a new patient and my experience at Dentistry @ Renfrew was great. The ladies greet you when you arrive with smiles and ask how you are. They are professional and friendly. They care about their clients. I was asked many times during my procedures how I am feeling etc. The office is a clean and happy environment,for a dental office.😀

I’ve been coming here for more than 2 years. The office is always clean and well lit. The front staff are very friendly and helpful. The dentists are capable and competent. The dental hygienists are the best at making patients comfortable and relaxed during the entire visit!

Once inside my appointment went well. Im sure the reception area will be nice once completed, however the outdoor sitting area was unexpected a little difficult to navigate and a little cool as I was not prepared clothing wise to be waiting outside. Im glad Raylen recognized that I was not fond of the mechanical descaler and started manually descaling.I also appreciate that my benefit units were on my bill.

I had two appointments at this clinic (July 3 and July 18, 2025) that resulted in ongoing nerve pain in two separate molars. The dentist I saw, Dr. Ragini Raghuwanshi, also had to redo bonding work on my front teeth during the same visit, which caused gum bleeding and soreness.

Before booking, I was told this dentist had been with the clinic for 4–5 years. I later learned she’s only been licensed in Ontario since June 2024— information I would have wanted to know before agreeing to treatment.

I sent three detailed emails and left a voicemail about my complications, but received no reply for weeks. I only got a response after calling multiple times. The office administrator eventually offered two follow-up times via text, and I confirmed one in writing. When I arrived, I was told the appointment was never booked.

At that visit, Dr. Bansal spoke to me at the front desk but did not examine me or address my specific dental pain. Instead, I was told I could see the same dentist whose work caused the issues, despite my request for a more experienced provider. No alternative appointment with Dr. Bansal was offered. When I said I would escalate my concerns to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Dr. Bansal told me to “go ahead.”

I left without any follow-up plan and remain in pain. My experience has been one of poor communication, lack of accountability, and unresolved treatment concerns.

I was in to have some filings and the care I received was 💯 amazing 👏. Christina and my dentist were so calm and caring throughout the whole procedure. I have real bad anxiety and they both made me so comfortable. The compassion and care I receive from front desk ladies, dentist, hygienest, assistants makes visiting the dentist much more bearable.

Christina is the reason I go back to this clinic. She understands what I want and need, directly talk to the Dr to correct any misunderstanding, so knowledgeable, she takes the time to answer all my questions, and is personable like no others there. I am definitely anxious when it comes to my visits there, and Christina as ALWAYS went out of her way to make my kids and I feel like we had a good experience there. I received most my services from Dr. Ragini so far, she's done good work and we appreciate her time.

I wish they would have started the work on our first appointment rather then drag it for an other month, why not do exam and start some work like I asked for? Now it's taking weeks to get what we came for done, but at least it's being looked after. That's the reason I gave a star less. Hopefully they give credit where due for those amazing dental assistant they have in there, especially Christina <3! The front desk girls are pretty good too, I'm no cup of tea sometimes and they still greet me with a smile, way to go team.

The dentists and staff at Renfrew Dentistry maintain a very friendly professional, clean and modern environment.
Dr. Al-Khatib is my dentist. He is a knowlegeable and wonderful dentist. He and his dental assistants/hygienists have a considerate way to make a patient feel comfortable and at ease. Customer care at the front desk was superb. I was well taken care of, and I am happy with them!
