How often does this management team—who seems more focused on increasing rent every couple of months—actually inspect their properties and ensure they are being properly maintained? From what I’ve seen, the attention on the ground is minimal at best. The priority should be clear: focus on daily cleaning routines, uphold consistent property standards, and respond promptly to tenant needs. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be happening here. Months together no cleaning on them, Filthy Carpets for heaven sake!

Reaching management by phone is a frustrating ordeal—calls go unanswered for days, and even when you try to submit a maintenance request, it often feels like it disappears into a void. This is not just an inconvenience; it’s unacceptable for tenants who are paying premium rates.

The overall building maintenance is far below standard. Cleanliness is inconsistent, common areas feel neglected, and the carpets are in such poor condition they should have been replaced long ago. It’s hard to understand how management can justify repeated rent increases when the basic upkeep of the property is ignored.

If there is an email or a direct channel to escalate concerns to the head office, I would strongly recommend it be shared publicly. Tenants deserve accountability and transparency, especially when the service and conditions fall this far short of expectations. At this point, based on my experience, I would give zero stars if that were an option.

It’s unbelievable how unprofessional the regional manager is…I got hung up mid conversation on a phone call today!! absolutely disrespectful and the most rudest tone possible treat people with respect and Consider maybe having a little self-awareness and better customer service. On the other hand Christal is always outstanding and so wonderful to deal with especially customer service wise! 😊

My experience with Northview was good, and exactly what you'd hope to experience with any property management company. Christal and Jennifer (management) were extremely accommodating with some of our asks and the move out inspection was swift and fair.

We lived in the Azure building on 102 Ave, and rarely had issues that required attention. I believe a leaking pipe was needing repairs in our unit and that was the only maintenance request needed in 3.5 years of staying there.

Obviously nothing is perfect but for someone who just wants to live their life without interference from management, poor site- maintenance, and bad neighbours, our experience was comparatively good when considering the other companies you can rent from in this town. Kudos to Northview staff as they made our last years before home ownership to be uneventful and smooth.

Chronically late to reopen after lunch. Sometimes half hour or more. Plus a lot of other unacceptable things.

I find the staff at the office to be helpful, particularly Omotayo. I had to pay my rent 5 days late once and they didn't even charge me a late fee. They've been attentive to the issue I've had with constant noise from a neighbour's dog. I've seen a fair amount of drug activity in my building, including drug deals right outside the front door at 5 am on a Saturday morning but I'm not blaming the management for that. So far it's been a reasonably good experience.

I had to move to the FSJ area on short notice for about 3.5 months last fall. Shannon was very helpful and I was able to move in to Terrace Court (in Taylor) on a reasonably-priced 3-month lease within days of contacting her. The building was dated and common areas were poorly maintained, but service was quick to respond to issues within my unit. They even upgraded my bathroom while I was there. Before the move-out inspection, I followed the (very thorough) cleaning instructions left in my door. Daniel and Somae conducted the inspection kindly and professionally, and my deposit was returned within a month. I would definitely rent from Northview again.

The staff treated me really from the moment of applying for my rental and whenever I had any questions regarding pets and my rental/its repairs. Really welcoming, and Northview itself has improved in the past few years!
