I ordered the Thanksgiving Day dinner for two. It was absolutely amazing. A five course meal including dessert. There was a beet salad with arugula, turkey (white and dark meat) with cranberry sauce, mixed veg, confit garlic potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cheesecake. The dressing on the salad was great. Everything was beautifully seasoned. The cheesecake with caramel sauce was delightful. The instructions for heating the food were clear and simple to follow. Bonus for me was that they offered the cake in a gluten free version which I requested, and when the food arrived, the gravy and the stuffing were also gluten free. There was plenty of food. I will definitely order a take home dinner from HOB again

We were so happy to work with HOB for our wedding. They were so organized and quick with communication. The food was absolutely amazing all of our guests loved it. They were also able to accommodate multiple allergies and worked with us on our menu until it was perfect! During the cocktail hour they even went above and beyond to make sure we were also getting food while we were busy with guests and photography. So grateful to the whole team at HOB and Isaac for coordinating the catering.

We had the pleasure of working with Chef Castro, Isaac, and the team at HOB Fine Foods for our Staff Appreciation luncheon. We had a budget to work with and we could have NEVER imagined what the team came up with. It was fine dining at its finest! Our staff was BLOWN away by how delicious everything was. Not only was the taste out of this world, the set up was spectacular and there was more than enough food for everyone! The team came in, set up, and took all the dirty dishes away after! If you are looking for small or large scale events, I HIGHLY recommend the HOB team!

HOB never disappoints! The food is really outstanding - each plate is a culinary work of art! The Long Table events are both unique and entertaining with ample portions of the most delicious and creative dishes in town! Chef Castro and team make the experience enjoyable and memorable. The events are a great way to spend an evening with foodie friends.

We attended the HOB event with Castro and Rob Cassells sharing a kitchen on March 24,2025. Fantastic and fun evening. Great variety of flavours and style but it worked together seamlessly. Loved the mushroom dish, the octopus salad and the pork belly course. High quality work! Well done!

We can’t thank House of Boateng (HOB) enough for making the Rand Automotive & EV LAB Victoria Christmas party such an amazing success! From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the incredible food and exemplary service, the entire evening was absolutely perfect. Every detail was taken care of with such professionalism and care.

The HOB team catered our special event at an indoor-outdoor location, with variable weather conditions and last-minute accommodations. They were super responsive and helpful. Food and drink were top notch, and the chef, bar and service staff did a superb job with great good humour. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I recently attended one of Chef Castro's "Dinner and Music Nights" and we were both completely blown away by the experience. Each of the six courses were thoughtfully prepared and presented as edible art...the evening was a total masterpiece! Thank you so much to Chef Castro and his fantastic team for a wonderful night.
