Thank you for the quick service for duct work cleaning and sanitation as well as my dryer vent! This is such a much needed service and I should have had it done before now. The tech contacted me when he arrived at my country home since I no longer live there and have it for sale and he did a great job! Power Vac is the way to go for getting your duct work cleaned!

The technician was kind and had good customer service approach, however- some aspects where disappointing.

1. The truck that showed up was not power vac, this was not communicated to me when I booked the service.

2. The tech was not equipped with carpet protection to roll down his unit into the basement. I had to manually carry it with him to avoid dirt on carpet and then lift it back up on his way out.

3. The tech did not had proper duct foil tape, and therefore avoided opening targeted panels that have been used for previous clean and properly taped. He mentioned the company only give him regular duct tape and not the foil type. I have provided him from my personal supply. After he left, I noticed that he likely not clean all the way on the return duct for that reason, it seems that he stopped the clean ~20ft before where there was one panel that was less visible than the one at the furnace location.

If you specialize in providing a service, you should ensure you do your best to deliver quality service and do it right the first time.

The worst aspect is that you reach out to me to seek feedback after the service and I have provided it via an email for your discretion, however - you never responded or acknowledge receiving. If you seek feedback, know how to manage it.

The tech arrived on time and did a great job. He was courteous and answered questions we had to our satisfaction. I love that this company doesn't contact you, they leave their contact number on your furnace and let you decide when it's time to clean your ducts again.

The technician was able to come early for the duct cleaning appointment. He was pleasant, courteous, and efficient. The noise from the truck was louder than anticipated, so you will want to give your neighbours a heads up. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the service and the price. We will use this service again when needed.

EDIT: Adjusted my rating as the operations manager reached out to me and provided a resolution

Long review but really disappointed to say the least...

1. My appointment was at 10:30am and nobody called or let me know anything after the tech didn't show. At 12:30 I called and was told there was a scheduling error and the tech would be there at 1:30pm

2. Told the tech 3 times not to block my neighbor's driveway and the truck was parked fine but then he ran all of the big vacuum tubes right up my neighbor's driveway instead of up my grass.

3. Tech had nothing to protect my property. No tarp, no carpet protection, no paper protection, no shoe covers. Mud, snow, and dirty was tracked throughout my entire house and all carpets. Techs socks were soaked as he walked through the house.

4. No explanation provided without being prompted with a question. Not much communication from the tech. No phone call from 10:30-1:30 telling me the truck was late, on it's way, etc. one phone call at 1:30 saying he was 10 minutes out.

5. The truck that showed up was not power vac. It was national duct cleaners. If I wanted national duct cleaners, I'd call them. I wanted power vac.

6. When doing the cold air returns he did not cover the ones upstairs. All of the dust blew out into the bedroom. The bedroom was completely foggy and needs a thorough deep clean now. What's the point of doing this work if he's just going to blow the dust from the vents into my BEDROOM? When I told him, he didn't seem to care. He just said "oh usually I cover it"..

7. The technician was duct taping the holes he cut into my vents.. he did not even have foil tape!! I had to give him a roll that I had. Are these guys SERIOUS?!?!?!

What do I have to show for all this? 300 dollars out of my pocket, and dirty floors, carpets, stairs, and horrible air quality in my home due to the work. I have to spend the entire weekend doing a thorough deep clean of my whole property now. I'm not sure how this company has 5 star reviews because this service is horrendous.

I was very happy to have Power Vac Ontario attend my residence and clean my duct outs. Thanks Tyler for a job well done! Tyler was very friendly and knowledgeable to the questions I asked him. It has provided me with a measure of confidence that the air quality in the house will be much cleaner, than it was, for the next few years, until they have to come back.

We are very impressed by the overall quality of your services. We recently moved into an older home with totally neglected ductwork cleanings for many many years. This was no easy task to accomplish.
You did an excellent service for us with an initial thorough full system cleaning in the fall, and then provided a repeat full system cleaning after 3 months for us at no charge to achieve the perfect results that you strive for.
Ammed the service technician performed all the different aspects with great excellence. He is friendly and respectful and competent. When it turned out that the dryer vent was closed to be blocked solid, he left no stone untouched until succes was finally achieved. Thank you Ammed for bracing all that dirt!

We recently had Power Vac clean the ducts in our home. The service technicians were fun and friendly but most importantly they were efficient and professional. I can't believe the difference they made in our home.
