Out of all the brewery stops I made on my last trip through Ontario, this was the standout. Location, views, setup, service, and price were excellent. The beer was great. Can’t wait to go back.

Bonus points for the support of local artists on the walls.

Loved this place the atmosphere and beer are unique so far on our visit to Canada from Wales. Had a very heavy rain storm while there did not dampen the vibe. Drank the IPA beer very good . Service quick and frendly.

My husband and I took a day trip with our newborn to Kincardine specifically to visit Grey Matter and it did not disappoint. The views were fantastic, the beers were delicious. Highly recommend the stop if you’re in the area. (And for parents out there, it was baby friendly for the stroller and for changing in the accessible washroom)

Beer was good. Nice location. Loved the variety of board games available. Wish there was an option for a vodka soda drink and more window seating at the back of the bar, but those are just personal preferences. We would go back.

Great craft beers to taste and buy! Big open indoor space with lots of extra room especially right now during covid-19. You can still go in to grab beers to go there are various flavours you can see most of them listed on the website. New flavours it stays in the October one this month was delicious! Great local Brewery! Highly recommended to try. There is an accessible washroom. The front entrance is accessible.

Wow, absolutely love this craft brewer in Kincardine! Super-friendly service, massive indoor space that's actually a mezzanine to let you witness their brewing and packing process in the basement below, and great views of Lake Huron! We especially loved their Checkmate Lager, super crisp and refreshing, and rehydrated with their innovative Peach & Hops drink. They'll let you sample everything, and if you don't want to stay, you can buy your favourites to take home with you. Thanks to the whole team for an amazing welcome! We'll be back.

We tried all 8 beers on tap, and enjoyed the wheat the best. Cute town to tour around in while you keep hydrated, and the beach is a quick walk down the road.

Nice find in downtown Kincardine. Smoke parking along the main stretch in town. Small list of onsite brews available, however they were tasty. Generous indoor and front patio seating options. Glad we stopped by!
