Since new ownership took over, I have been disappointed each time I go to the store. Consistently there is no inventory or samples to try on. Customers are told to order clothing online. The turnaround time is way to long (4 weeks). The last order I placed, was for my child's sports team at the beginning of the sport season; I later received an email informing me that the item I wanted was out of stock and they wouldn't receive anymore.

About 6 months ago I had been spending 4-5 months in port Elgin. I was returning home (Costa Rica) and had not realized when I order some prance gear online for in-store pickup. That the turn around was 10 days. I had 3. The super kind ladies in the shop put my order on super fast and had all my stuff ready on time. Great service , would 100% recommend you get all your custom orders done at Gords!

Staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. Great spot for getting local branded apparel and gift ware. I love my lake life hoodie - highly recommend!! They come out with seasonal designs too, the skeleton hand "peace" was a personal favourite. Also my go-to for skate sharpening!

I get all of my print design work done at Gord's, always extremely satisfied with the final product. Gord is also the only guy I trust to sharpen my hockey skates (for over 20 years now).
