Dan was absolutely amazing! He knew we needed our drawings quickly, and worked over the weekend to get them done. When a change had to be made, he came to the designer’s place of business and came up with a solution that allowed us to start our project. I called Dan at Durham Engineering for an initial inspection of my project and he was clear, concise, and very patient. I decided to work with Dan to complete my project from my initial impression to also provide detailed drawings and instructions on meeting industry code, as well as, final inspections to ensure the work was complete to spec. Back in 2019 we decided to renovate and remove a supporting wall to expand our kitchen. We hired Durham Engineering to do the architectural drawings. We had to postpone the renovation because of Covid. We decided to proceed this year. After opening some walls in our basement we located exactly where the support beams were located. Dan was kind enough to come by and did a full evaluation and updated our drawings. Once the beam was installed we had problems with the town inspection. If it wasn’t for Dan I’m not sure what we would have done. He wrote a report for us to address the town’s concerns. I can’t tell you enough how much we appreciate everything Dan did for us on our behalf. He was able to address all our concerns with patience and understanding. I highly recommend Durham Engineering, he will to do a great job for you!

We approached Durham Engineering to get drawings for our home on a potential renovation several years ago, received drawings, got disrupted by Covid-19 on our timeline and recently went back for some updates.
