I got married in August and we wanted Acropole pizza for our dinner. Acropole Westville did an amazing job not only on the pizza's but on delivery as well. Everything was on time even though they had so many pizza's to make and they tasted amazing. All of our guest were very impressed including me and my husband. I highly recommend Acropole Westville on a regular day but now I will recommend them for any event you may be having.

A unique brown tangy-sweet sauce makes this a must try in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. This is the best pizza joint in the region. The toppings are also unique with a premium pepperoni that offers a smoked and garlic forward taste. The cheese is generous and tasty. The crust holds this back from being better.

Crust: 6.5 / 10
Medium-thick, with a cracker like consistency. It lacks flavour and can struggle to hold up to the toppings.

Sauce: 8 / 10
The unique brown sauce is more tangy than spicy, with a hint of sweetness. It is the highlight of the pie and truly showcases the Pictou County style of pizza.

Cheese: 7.5 / 10
Tasty and very generous amount on each pie. The weight of the cheese and toppings is a bit much for the crust, which flops at the end and can cause the top to slide off.

Toppings: 7.5 / 10
The local pepperoni is smokey and has a garlic flavour. It's thicker cut and you get a generous amount. It's different than your standard pizza pepperoni profile in terms of taste and texture, as it doesn't char due to the thickness, but it's a very nice surprise in terms of flavour.

Very friendly and efficient service, with good food pricing and cold beers on tap.

Absolutely amazing place. Great service, great people and good atmosphere. Just when I went to get pizza to go... I got a bit disappointed. But otherwise... definitely a place to stop by.

I can't give this place enough praise!!!
I have been from BC to NL and had Donairs from just about every province, but the Acropole in Westville,NS is theeee BEST.....and alotta bang for ur buck!!

We decided to try this place out on a lazy Friday night and weren't disappointed. Staff was pleasant. Pizza was high quality. Lots of cheese and toppings, good crust, very satisfying. We got take out, so can't comment on the restaurant experience but the food is A+. Will definitely be back.
