After a lot of personal research and now experience Using their equipment I would not want to use anything other than theirs. It is extremely user friendly, very simple, small discrete and inexpensive to add onto if you so wish. The Wi-Fi coverage is the best we have ever had. Great internet and great service! I was hesitant to switch from the telus smart hub... Not sure why I waited soo long my internet is stable and reliable now with Alberta Comms. The install crew was great, super professional and even sticks around to make sure your router is set up and working as it should. Highly recommend these guys for rural internet, faster and more reliable than Telus.

I also requested a site evaluation, but was informed by the company, that a tech drove by and indicated the site was good. I have a number of large trees around the property, and the trees may impair the quality of the signal. I guess I will never know, as the company has not responded to the request.

Called in to have a site evaluation. I left work early to be home. The person evaluating didnt even get out of the vehicle. In fact didnt even stop. Drove by and said it wont work. I was willing to put up a tower to get it to work for my house. After seeing this is how potential customers i would hate to see how actual customers are treated. I understand covid precautions but when trying to see if a service will work for the company and the customer there has to be communication on site. Maybe masks, gloves and distancing are the way to go not doing drive bys.

If you love having slow internet, not having your pages load and an unbelievably bad user experience, then sign up with Albertacom to be your internet service provider. If there were other provider options in our area, we would gladly leave. But unfortunately, there are not so we are stuck with internet that is slower than the 15th century.

In today's world of technology, it is nice to have a provider that actually picks up the phone and provides me with prompt customer service.
