I will start this review by honestly stating that I was 11 minutes late for my appointment. I called as soon as the salon opened to let them know and apologized both over the phone and in person to no acknowledgement either way.

I am all about supporting small business which is why I booked here for a second time (I also referred someone else here to support the business) but unfortunately won't be returning.

As a busy twin toddlers mom, getting my hair done is part of the limited 'me time' I have and usually an enjoyable experience.

Mentioning again that I know I was late but my hairstylist didn't speak a word to me (nor did anyone else who worked there). I tried to make some conversation but felt shut down. My hairstylist didn't ask what I wanted to do with my hair, I just spoke up when I started seeing scissors in her hand. When it came to styling, she again, didn't ask how I wanted it styled, I mentioned I wanted volume, assuming she was going to do a round brush blowout but it wasn't what I wanted.

I get my hair cut 1-2 times a year so I like to know I'm comfortable where I'm going. The cut was fine, I ended up restyling it for the event I had later on. Customer service is SO important in this day and age and it fell short today.

I didn't want to write this review on account of not wanting to bring your rating down, but I will mention when I receive great customer service and when I don't and unfortunately today was not a great day.

New owner, new staff, new atmosphere! It was my 1st time under the new owner.
5 star for sure! Tori, the owner is very knowledgeable and Hailey the stylist who did my hair was fantastic! The price was great! Very friendly staff and a nice calm atmosphere. What a wonderful experience! Totally recommend!

First time visiting and I had Hailey cut my hair. I had no idea what to do with my hair and she was able to craft sometime that is easy to manage but looks fantastic. She spent time cutting and drying it and explaining how to care for it. Definitely will go back

Myself and my Daughter visited this salon for the 1st time today. My daughter was very apprehensive and hasn't had a haircut in 3 yrs as she had previous had a bad one. After going in and discussing this beforehand, they were extremely sympathetic, and assured us she would only be with professional stylists. Haylee did a beautiful job ! and could see she was very nervous, and put her at ease, she left smiling and very very happy. All the girls were amazing in the salon, we all had a good chit chat and giggle, great atmosphere. Haylee is a diamond and has wicked cutting skills and takes her time, no rush, very good pricing. I just discovered this salon opening yesterday. Their Grand Opening happened last week. I just recently discovered them yesterday. A New owner took over the Salon that used to be called Embrace Salon.

This New Ownership, which is Now called Alchemy Hair Salon is Fantastic!! I was out for a walk. I discovered that a new owner took over the old salon and discovered their Open Sign Lit Up. I was Excited!! I went in physically to make an appointment for myself to get a Hair cut and Style. The Owner, Torie, was Extremely Friendly, Accommodating and Sweet!! You can tell she is Very Much about the customer, Not about herself.

I thought it would take a few days before I could get my hair done. It happened that her Apprentice Hairstylist just started her shift and had no clients. So, I was able to be taken right away!!

I LOVE how they are about the customer, to make sure that Everything is done Exactly as the customer wants and makes sure that Everything goes Well during the styling process. They care about the customer needs and wants, Not about themselves.

I am Extremely Happy with the results of my Hair Cutting and Styling!!

I am Happy and Thrilled with this New Salon and New Ownership!! I Really Encourage People to start coming to this Salon and give them the Business they deserve!!

I am Definitely going to be a recurring customer.

Debbie is my go-to balayage gal, and she never disappoints! I’ve been her client for 10 years, and I followed her to Alchemy Hair Salon because she always leaves me with a confidence boost. The salon itself has such a positive atmosphere, and Torie, the owner, is incredibly welcoming—she even knows me by name! I’m also excited to book my extension consultation with Cassie, as I have very fine hair. Can’t recommend this team enough!
