I received phenomenal service from Bev at Art Cansel recently and I just have to share my experience... I ordered a framed jersey from a vendor on eBay and it arrived damaged - the frame was completely cracked in half. The jersey was a gift for my father and I needed it for his party at the end of the week. I was gutted. I took my broken piece to Art Cansel on a Monday and pleaded my case to Bev. She graciously took my order, rushed my piece and had it ready for me on Thursday. They completely saved the day and I couldn't be happier with the results. They replaced the entire piece with better materials (solid wood frame, proper backing and glass case vs the original press-board frame, paper/cardboard backing and plastic case) and properly pinned the jersey vs the original method using staples. When I picked up the piece, I was greeted again by Bev and I had my children with me. Bev treated my children as if they were her own... She was welcoming, cheerful and so empathetic of the whole situation. She could tell I was in a panic on Monday. I cannot speak highly enough of this business and I would certainly recommend them for framing work. Excellent service from you folks... From the bottom of my heart - thank you for saving the day.

I was in town at the Pouch Cove Artist residency and needed five canvasses I was working on during my residency stretched for the James Baird Gallery. I dropped off canvasses late on a Friday and received them back stretched and finished for hanging by Tuesday morning. Great service and good price. Bev is a gem.

Hands-down the best art supply store around but the hours are difficult for anyone who works an office job. Website hours are also not kept up-to-date so if you don't use social media, call ahead to make sure they're open first. I booked it down here after work based on the website hours only to find it closed. Would buy all my art supplies here if not for the hours. Shop local whenever possible, friends!

I have brought many pieces here over the years and am always delighted by the results. Bev and her staff know exactly what frame will sit a piece best -- I have had paintings and drawings of all media, including fabric art beautifully framed.

My wife went for paint supplies and the staff member showed her all options from beginner (inexpensive) to professional quality. They let her make her own decisions and didn’t only push the most expensive products! Nice place to shop with tons of items to choose from!
