The Professional Insurance program is a great avenue into starting a career in the Insurance industry. Truly thankful to Max for guiding me through the entrance process, being a point of contact for the program and reassuring me every step of the way. Cathy was an exceptional resource for industry knowledge as well as, polished professionalism in sales and problem solving.

Cody has an exceptional talent for teaching. His organization of the material made the knowledge digestible and his learning techniques made classes enjoyable while making the information easier to recall. I passed all my licence exams with flying colours, without a doubt, thanks to his help.

The connections and industry experience of this team definitely helps connect you to the industry quickly and sets you up for a flying start. Grateful to the whole team for getting me across the finish line and I am excited to be starting my new Career in the Insurance industry.

I had an amazing experience with Ballad in their Professional Insurance Certification course! The pacing of the material isn’t too fast, and the instructors make sure that you understand the material before moving on, they really embody the saying “no man left behind”. Everyone you meet at ballad is also incredibly kind and will give twice as much as you give to them. They also work hard to help you network with potential employers so you’re not just thrown to the wolves as soon as you are done getting your licensing. If you’re looking for a program that has instructors that genuinely care and want you to succeed in the insurance industry, then this is the program for you.

Special shout out to Cathy, Max, Tyler, Cody, and Laurie; because of you I have gained so much knowledge and have grown so much as person and for that I am eternally grateful.

I'm writing this review a few years late but I wanted to write about the impact this program has done for me!

I attended this program in January of 2020 and finished it in March of 2020. The program assisted me in attaining my level one general insurance license which was the reason I was able to find work as an Insurance agent.

This was all during the COVID times where finding work was next to impossible so I am forever grateful for this program as I would not be where I am today without it.

Helped me gain confidence and boost my knowledge in all matters in Insurance. Very grateful for the opportunity I've had.

Thank you very much Laurie!

If you’re looking to get any kind of grant, I’d recommend just saving what little you can each pay day. You’ll probably save the amount you need faster than you’ll get a grant or access to a course.

I applied September 2023, application was officially approved on March 05, 2024. It is now April 19, 2024, & I still have no word as to when I’ll be in a course. Even better, the last email communication I had with anyone told me I now won’t be getting in to a course until “late spring/early summer”. When I contacted you guys in December, I was told applications closed in November 2023, but that because I applied in September, my application would get processed anyway, as it did. However, at that time I was told May was going to be the next available courses. Well, it’s just about May, & I still haven’t been given any updates on course placement. Which is great, because ei has officially run out. Now I need to find a part-time job, no more than 29hrs, so I don’t disqualify myself from the grant, which is hardly going to pay my bills. On top of that, any email communication leaves me feeling uneasy as there is never an actual name attached to responding emails, so you don’t have a person to reference in communications moving forward.

I wasn’t expecting this to be some quick & easy process, but I surely wasn’t expecting it to be nearly a year before getting in to a course. At this rate, I’m honestly expecting this whole thing to fall apart.
