It felt like finding a hidden treasure.

Very easy to miss out locating this place. At first site you may think twice entering, but trust me it's an amazing place.

Servers are kind and eager to help, the menu is a 2 pager and a few Chef Specials in another. They also serve drinks.

We went for Hot Thai Stir Fry - Chicken Shrimp - Tofu Curry - Fresh Fries with multiple sauce and toppings.

All the preps and flavours were just awesome. The portion size was XL.

The place we eat at every time we visit Sylvan Lake. We love this place! The service is always good, the food is amazing, the first sip of tomyum after a whole day swimming is just out of this world. The food portion and quality is soo soo good considering the cheap prices!! Pad thai poutine weirded me out first but try first before you judge. We’ll be back for more!!

I have tried Thai foods from many places in the world, and by far, this place has the least tasting Pad Thai. The flavours are intense, yet they are widely incompatible. The portion is quite huge though.

The red coconut curry rice meal was way too spicy for the spice level ratings. Me and my partner can tolerate average spicy food, yet this was unexpected. There’s little chicken and portion was small. I suggest the server should have warned us beforehand.

We also tried the trio skewers (pork, beef, chicken) and one of them is burned! Thus all skewers were dried, despite quite flavourful.

Restaurant has little parking and it was quite hot inside as they don’t have AC. (We visited when it was 34 C but AC would be a lot more pleasant)

The only good part is the service. Our service was very sweet and welcoming.

It was an OK dining experience. We had Green curry soup, fresh vegetables (mushrooms, green beans,eggplant, and chicken strips gently simmered in medium-spiced coconut green curry broth. Big serving, good enough for 2-3 people. Hubby had Vegetable Noodle Bowl, 4 large veggie spring rolls, assorted vegetables, and toasted peanuts nestled on a bed of vermicelli noodles with sweetened soy vinaigrette. Good portions, light and refreshing. I had the Hot Thai stir fry with steamed rice. The taste is just ok, a little bit oily and bland for my liking, and lacked the vibrant and complexity of flavors I expect from Thai cuisine. Prices are reasonable.

The food was just ok. Too spicy to start with. The shrimps are not overcooked though. It’s my first time to visit this place. Tomyum soup is nice, though not the same taste with the authentic Thai Tomyum. Overall rating is 6.5/10

I've never had a bad meal at Bamboo Hut—it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Sylvan! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the soups and the Monster Bowl, though honestly, everything I've tried here is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the great quality and large portion sizes. I always recommend Bamboo Hut to anyone asking where to eat in Sylvan. Keep up the great work!

The food we ordered were satisfactory. Servings were more than enough, the colors of the food are vibrant, the shrimp fresh! It was not so busy so we understood why there was only one staff.
