Le bâtiment est joli et a été récemment rénové. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la salle de bain très correcte. La jeune fille qui fait le service du petit déjeuner est charmante, serviable et souriante. Le petit déjeuner continental est copieux. Jeff, le propriétaire-cuisinier, est accueillant et affable.||||Dans des conditions normales, tout cela donnerait un solide "très bon", MAIS||||La présence du chemin de fer, minimisée par la plupart des autres messages sur TripAdvisor ne peut pas être réduite au rôle de petit désagrément. La première nuit, nous avons entendu passer 5 trains, chacun pour un passage de plus de 2 minutes, sur le pont métallique situé à 60m de notre fenêtre.||||Mon sonomètre est monté, fenêtre entr'ouverte à 60dB, et fenêtre fermée à 40dB, ce qui correspond quand même à une place de village normalement animée...||||Voyez la photo jointe pour une idée du spectacle qui vous attend de la chambre 301...||||Désolé pour le patron qui met tout son coeur dans la gestion de cette maison, mais en vacances, ce qui pour moi passe avant tout le reste, c'est la situation géographique.

C'est une place formidable les gens tres acceuillant la chambre tres propres, tout pret de l'eau pour faire un tours d'avion et autre . Il a des trajet pour faire des rendonnees a la marche .on pense que dans les grosses chaine de motel est mieux mais je crois pas ses un endroit tres WOW grande chambre le proprietaire tres chaleureux et meme les employees . il a des activites de tout genre un parcours pour les pietons. c'est une place que je retournerais avec plaisir , merci pour le bon service.

A nice hotel located 5 minutes walk from the waterfront, and walking distance to a number of restaurants. The building is of more than a hundred years old, expanded twice.
With its century old style, the room is not big and doesn’t have many features as newer hotel rooms, e.g. power outlets are located a bit further from the desk, light switch is behind the TV. Having said that, it is quiet, cozy, warm and clean. Washroom and shower worked well.
A railway bridge is right above passing this hotel, however I did not hear anything, such a good sleep I have had.
Breakfast is served, of good quality.

My wife and I were on a 2500 mile motorcycle trip around the great lakes. This place was or favorite. The owner had us in a spacious room with two comfortable queen beds with a balcony. The bathroom was not large but sufficient. The linens were very soft. ||The owner, had a lot of local knowledge and recommendations. It was a pleasure talking to him in the morning.||In the morning, there was a nice line up of homemade jams, breads, yogurt, juice and coffee. I didn't expect to be asked how I liked my eggs. ||Were were there on Canada Day and were able to watch the fireworks from the balcony.||Not only was this place our favorite on the trip, the town was our favorite as well.

Excellent location for this quaint Inn, close to downtown, the Island Queen Dock, Henry's Parry Sound restaurant, Big Sound Marina and the Performing Arts Center with complimentary parking. We had a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights. We had room 104, a ground floor room with a comfortable king side bed, a fireplace (not sure if it works as we stayed in July), great AC, a full bathroom with a large tub and shower. This room has a small fridge, flat screen TV, desk with chair, large armoire and free wifi which we found was quite good. There were plenty of outlets in the room however the left side of the bed could use a small bedside table. The room has a small enclosed screened porch with 2 chairs just off the bedroom area, a small table in the porch area would have been appreciated. Our host Jeff is very personable and helpful with directions, and dining options. The breakfast in the morning, served 7:30 am to 9 am, was lovely with delicious coffee or tea, fruits, yogurts, oatmeal, toast with homemade jams, eggs and a choice of juices. We will definitely return whenever we stay in Parry Sound and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable homey place to stay.

The Inn is a gem. The Inn was quite charming. I felt like I was in a hallmark movie. I love the history that surrounds you. The hosts have manage to incorporate the old with the new very tastefully. The location is very convenient for many attractions that are in Parry Sound. Many within walking distance ie 30000 Island Queen cruise and Islander Adventure tour, restaurants and fitness trial and the Trestle railway bridge. The continental breakfast was amazing. The host went above and beyond. The host makes you feel like you are home. We will most definitely be coming back.
