Phillip Cranell is NOT here to help you, only to take your money. not only was he incompetent with Family Law (judge had to educate him on very basic concepts), he is purposefully argumentative with opposition to rack up your bill. Everyone in town knows he is your FIRST lawyer, because after dealing with him you will definitely move onto someone else. This guy is an absolute tool, don’t waste your money.

They’re claiming I was never a client, and this isn’t true at all.

Personally we had a great experience with Marc and his staff. They were on the ball and willing to help out as best they could.
Any time we had a question we would call and they would help out as best they could.
I would definitely recommend Marc's office to friends and family.
Unfortunately as a lawyer you hope to schedule appointments properly, but if in court you can't really know what will happen.
I suggest, making an appointment on a day he isn't in court.

These people will needlessly drag your case out over and over with remand after remand seemingly to pad their bill. It was done to my son. Once the lawyer didn't even bother to show up to court. The judge was not impressed to say the least, and voiced his displeasure quite openly.
Use someone else, anyone else, and you're better off.
