We had a leaking basement for 3 years, with 2 attempts to repairs from a competing company. BENJI came in with outside of the box thinking to fix our issue and got it on the first try! Crew kept the site clean and respected our timeline for working. Very happy with these guys, I think other contractors could learn a thing a two from these guys! keep up the good work

We hired Dittrich to forestall issues with our property's drainage. His team was punctual, showing up at 8am and often working to 8pm. They were also professional, polite, and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves. They answered questions about the work.

The quality of the work itself was top notch. In addition to the job itself, they also did a number of other minor repairs on my property, including resetting the footing on fences they moved, fixing up crumbling parts of our porch, etc.

All told, they went above and beyond the call of duty. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

I can't recommend Benji Dittrich Construction highly enough. For 16 long years I lived with a leaky basement. I dreaded every Spring.. knowing that soon enough I would have a river flowing through the unfinished part of my basement. Over time, the leaks were getting worse and eventually water started migrating to the finished parts of my basement. Early on, I stumbled on Bonnie and Benji's website and was so impressed by the detailed diagrams and explanation of what was going on around my house, that I filed away the link for later.

I knew that digging around my over 100 year house would be an expensive project. With a poured cement patio on one side, a driveway on the other and retaining walls supporting every square inch--I couldn't imagine how I would ever afford to get the job done without destroying precious gardens and breaking the bank. At the same time I knew that if I cut corners or went with a more inexperienced company it would cost me more in the long run. When the time came that I could wait no longer, I immediately called them.

Let me just say that from beginning to end Bonnie and Benji were a dream to work with. First Bonnie came by and walked me through everything, explaining the pros and cons of different approaches (internal vs external weepers), and giving me a lesson on the physics of basements and water while she was at it ☺️ Of the two other contractors that came by, none came close to Bonnie in terms of explaining what was going on and how we could tackle it. Soon after, she came by with Benji, who took as much time as Bonnie did, explaining everything in detail and just generally being awesome. Very soon after we received a very detailed, reasonably priced, professional quote which was refreshing and reassuring to see.

Once they secured the permit, the work started and Benji and his crew were here at the crack of dawn, working all day long for 6 days straight. I have to say Benji’s crew was also awesome. It’s the little things that matter.. when a shrub was dug up, I’d find it placed neatly in the backyard for me to rescue if I wanted to; and I really appreciated how careful they were with all of the tricky aspects of my property; even putting things back (like part of a fence) when he didn’t have to. When I went outside there were always people working with a smile on their face happy to answer any question I had. All in all, just a fantastic experience. To top it off, they were done the entire perimeter of my house all the way down to the footers, rubber coating and blueskin w/weepers and all in a staggeringly fast 6 days.

And the cherry on top? I can't wait for Spring 😀

I recommend Benji Dittrich to anyone with a basement issue of any kind. If you want the job done right the first time and by an extremely kind, funny, and knowledgeable crew, call Bonnie and Benji. 10/10.

We used the services of Benji Dittrich Construction in the spring of 2022. They were very quick to respond to our request to have a look at our foundation. Once we confirmed to use their services, they had the job completed within a week of starting. Everyone was very pleasant and worked very hard in the hot temperatures.
