Excellent location, can get to everything you could possibly need just by walking.
The hotel itself was beautiful. Well maintained.
Room was nice and big, beds were comfortable. Room was clean and we really liked that the room had tile floor instead of carpet.
The hotel felt a lot more fancy than what we paid!
They are adding a bar which will be a great addition!

Parking at this location was a bit tight. The hotel room itself was a good size, though one bed had noisy springs. Décor was average, with some odd artwork (bird’s nests and feathers) that didn’t appeal to me.

The bathroom was excellent — well-designed for safety with a grab bar, though the shower door swing was a bit awkward due to the layout. The shower itself worked well.

There was some light pollution from electronics, but most of it could be mitigated (for example, unplugging the microwave). The air conditioning was reasonably noisy.

Staff service was disappointing overall, apart from the friendly lady in the breakfast area. Cleanliness, however, was very good. The location is convenient, with a Walmart directly behind the property.

The gym looked decent, and the swimming pool was certainly chlorinated. The TV system offers streaming like Netflix. The room had good facilities: a separate recycling bin, a decent hairdryer, a safe, a good-sized fridge, and reliable bins.

Stayed just one night — it did what it needed to do and I slept well.

We’re travelling about 6 hours with two small children so we stayed at this hotel halfway through our trip. Check in was super fast, (Yay!), room was quite big and clean, bed was really comfortable and our toddler gave the big screen TV 5 stars. The pool was great to tire the kids out before bed and before the second half of our trip. Location is also great with the Walmart plaza right beside us! Also nice big parking lot to park our moving truck. Breakfast was great, coffee machine was a nice touch as well. AC unit worked amazingly well, love a crisp room to sleep in. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet. Great kids breakfast! Friendly female staff member at checkout. A little confusing and frustrating making the booking over the phone with one of the male evening staff members but rest of the staff were great! Overall a great stay!

Just a few suggestions

Pool is too cold. Is there a way to make it warmer? Temperature should be raised .

The ceiling above shower is peeling a lot and this is puzzling but not surprising.

Puzzling because hotel is new

Not surprising because there is no fan or the fan in washroom is broken . Having a fan is needed always .

If broken fix it ASAP or get one installed ASAP.

Why is Best Western Hotels allowing rooms/washrooms to have ceilings peel like this?

This was on the 3rd floor so maybe the room on the 4th floor is having trouble..

Customer Service with front desk wasn't good the day we tried to check out.

Noone at front desk.

We stayed in room 410 on June 30th, 2025. The rooms are nice but the noise level on our floor was terrible. I called the front desk at 10pm to complain & they said they would come up & speak to the people. It quieted for about 5 minutes then slowly increased again & continued until around 230am. For $240 we expect a comfortable, quiet, restful night not the hell scape we were put into. Worst stay we ever had at a Best Western & we will need to rethink our membership with this hotel chain. Hopefully the management read this & compensate us accordingly as Diamond members.

16 of us had our yearly golf tournament June 3-5th. This is the first time we stayed at BW Parry Sound. The staff was very friendly, they offered us a "gathering room" to watch the game on TV and have some pizza 🍕. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast has a hot selection and food and was constantly replaced with fresh. Looking forward to coming back with my Corvette club in the fall.

My wife and I had a very nice stay at this hotel as well visiting the community itself. The only problem was the scandalous way we were led to believe that our "over the phone"reservation was being processed directly with the hotel . We realized after the fact that the third party booking scam ended up charging us more for the room than the usual rate and did not provide a cancelation option. The additional irritation occurred when we were informed that our 2 night stay did not apply for BWP points since the third party processed the reservation. Usually, we are wary of this kind of deception when making hotel reservations but this experience was an exception due to the misleading booking agency.
