Stayed for a hockey tournament that was being held in Standard, a 30 minute drive away. The hotel was comfortable and they did well to manage kids playing in hallways, parents having drinks, etc. The pool was a good diversion for the kids. The nearby Roadhouse restaurant was a good find.

Horrible stay. I hope this was a one off but this was the worst hotel stay I have had in years. They allowed hockey to be played in the hallways the first night. Allowed kids to run up and down stairs throughout the night and the next night. When asked to do something they did nothing. I highly recommend best westerns but this location I may not stay at again after this.

Friendly staff. Decent breakfast.
Small hotel. Building and rooms were aged. Small pool. Functional option. No elevator 🛗. So don’t bring in too much suitcases if you are not at main floor.

My issue is mostly with the travel agency I used. I booked a room specifically big enough for 5 including being pet friendly. I clarified and verified three separate times that these details were non-negotiable. When we arrived the reservation was a room big enough for 4 and not pet friendly. Because it was around midnight when we arrived after a long exhausting drive moving to a different province and the reservation was last minute and non-refundable we did what we could to change rooms to be pet friendly at the same hotel. The only pet friendly room available was one that the hotel staff says they only rent out in emergencies otherwise they do everything they can to avoid renting it, due to the fact it's directly under the breakfast room and it opens at 5:30 am. It was still only big enough for 4 unfortunately. The room was a downgrade from what we originally reserved by $43 which we were not reimbursed for, and on-top of that we had to pay a $22 pet fee that we were told was already included in our original reservation. The TV didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush and continuously ran... (I'm not going to reach into a hotel toilet to fix this). We told the staff in the morning and we received an apology but nothing more. I'm thankful they were accommodating but not sure I'd ever stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel 2 weeks ago for the first time and my son left behind a gold ring his grandma gave him. We called to ask about it and to reserve a room for another trip and they told us to check the lost and found once we get there. We arrived today, and after asking us to describe it, they gave us the ring. We were super happy! if it was any other Hotel it would’ve been lost but the staff here is great! The guys at the front desk are amazing and super friendly, the rooms are very clean. We asked for a pet friendly room and they conveniently have 2 doors, once to go to the hall and one that goes outside so you have direct access to the street to take your pets out when they need it. Breakfast is included, and while is a basic breakfast, is actually much better than the breakfast at the other hotels in town. We would strongly recommend this Hotel.

My family and I stayed at the hotel on our way to bc, our stay was awesome. Prices were very reasonable. We got a family suite as there was 5 of us and it was huge, very clean and had the perfect set up. Pool was perfect temperature and whole pool area was well kept. The complementary breakfast was yummy. Staff was very friendly. All in all it was a great stay definitely will stay again next time we head that way.

We stayed to separate nights on this trip. |The first was in a standard double queen bed room which aside from desk chair being worn was otherwise clean and well maintained.||Our second night on the return trip from BC was a suite which I booked using rewards point. It too was well cared for, aside from one minor detail which was immediately taken care of by the staff.||The pool is clean and hot tub was relaxing after a long drive. The breakfast buffet is standard fare (eggs, pancakes & etc) and definitely up to BW standards.||If you have any mobility or other concerns you may want to request a room either on the second (main) floor or on the first floor which can be accessed at ground level (some rooms have own exterior doors) as the hotel does not have a elevator.
