This company was bought by new owners in 2022 and it has seen a miraculous transformation. Systems for Quality, Finance and Accounting, Contracts, HR, and Program Management are now in place to ensure reliable communications, staff was hired to take care of both the internal and external tasks and the customer satisfaction scores have skyrocketed. The Bowen Group went from a mom and pop company with marginal morale to a highly professional and reliable organization offering a pathway for education and advancement. Impressive.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The training for this job is a complete joke. The two weeks of training is just watching videos of veterans stories, playing kahoot and going over their code of conduct and rules. You get to pick your schedule. Where? You are assigned a schedule and can only change it if you are above 90% of a certain criteria.
The only way to actually learn how to do this stupid job is by actually doing it when you are assigned a trainer. This job is easy, but the rules are stupid. You only have a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks. You have to clock out to use the bathroom or any personal time. You have to stay above 90% on each call LOL. You have to follow the script and not go off subject. You can’t talk to the veteran about football and anything besides VA related issues. The supervisors are a joke. They are no help. The IT department is a joke and no help. You basically have to sit down, be a robot and give your life away to be perfect in every call. Like the veterans I was taking to each and every day until I decided to quit have said: the VA call center is a joke. This job is a joke. Veterans curse and tell at you. Supervisors treat you like nothing. DO NOT TAKE THIS JOB. Stay far away. To be Perpect and only get paid $17 something and hour is ridiculous. I’m not making an appointment to drop off my equipment. I’m leaving at the door.

they lied to you from the beginning they tell you you can work any shift that you want and then when you get through training the assign you a shift, even though you specifically asked to have a certain day off because of prior obligations
God forbid that you spend a couple more minutes past your break with a veteran because you get points against you for doing that because you went past your break same thing with lunch another breaks you get no time in between your breaks or lunch to go to the bathroom whatsoever I hurt my back had to have surgery and they they then decided they wanted me to drive an hour and a half one way to return their equipment knowing full well I can’t lift more than 5 pounds or drive for the next 6 to 8 weeks. They sent me an email that they were gonna have me arrested for stealing their equipment even though I told him they are more than welcome to my house to get it, these people are also operating without a license in West Virginia. The only five star ratings you’re gonna see on here or from supervisors or higher ups. So they pad the points to make you think it’s a wonderful company to work for why don’t you ask them how many people they go through or what their turnover rate is because it’s quite high You get points against you for everything they are mean and vindictive Company and I for one will tell you run run run the other direction

Started out great until I switched to night shift and the supervisor Diane and Suzanne started to micromanage a lot. They love to babysit and tell you what your doing wrong and never acknowledged when your doing a great job. The higher ups respond back when they feel like it. You only get paid twice a month. They made me hate working for the government! So glad I’m gone. The stress and pay not worth it!!! I wish I could give no stars. No this ain’t no made up review!

Its okay, but there is no communication between the higher ups. I went through training for 6 weeks, then tell me I can't work evening shift after giving it to me, due to a situation I told them about since my interview. I told them from day 1 thats what I needed. Now I can't reach anyone in email or messages with no replies. Was very excited to work here, not anymore!
