Extremely happy with my experience with Bro-Tech. They installed a boiler system for in-floor heating in my home. The reception staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Both Dylan and Preston were friendly and professional during the installation. The system itself looks like a work of art in my furnace room. A few days after the installation was complete, the boiler had an error message, Preston was there to fix the issue within the hour that I contacted them. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Story time: We scheduled an appointment for a furnace servicing with Brotech as our furnace had been struggling to heat our home. There was an obvious issue as our Nest thermostat kept giving us error messages and even when the furnace was running, the house was still cold. I quickly realized that this wasn't a software problem and likely a hardware issue. Preston was kind enough to listen to me blabber on about what I had been hearing and noticing about the furnace. From what I shared, he quickly determined that there was an issue with our blower. Or was it the blower?...Preston didn't stop his sleuthing and was able to narrow down the problem further to a faulty control panel/switch board. The blower was fine! He ordered the control panel part immediately and was back the next day to complete the work. He was also kind enough to lend us 3 space heaters to get by without our heat. I no longer have to wear my outdoor winter clothes inside. Moral of this google review story: I would recommend Brotech to anyone in Strathmore and surrounding areas! Preston was honest and let us know that we should start saving for a furnace in the next 5 years or so, without trying to upsell his services in the moment.

The only area for improvement in my personal opinion was a lack of ongoing communication (but this is totally a personal requirement and preference of mine). With the time of year (Fall season, getting cold, think -5 to -10 overnight), I had to follow up with the office to confirm our appointment the day of as our estimated window had passed and I hadn't heard from them. They do not take voicemail unless it is an emergency (this is how I perceive the welcome message if sent to voicemail), so be sure to call until you get their admin staff, she is super nice and helpful. At the end of the day, the service was excellent and when Preston was working with us directly, he gave his full attention and communicated openly and transparently.

Bro-Tech did the plumbing in our house renovation. Unfortunately either due to communication issues between our contractor & them or lack of care there are several problems. The valves for the shower are installed at the incorrect depth making the trim kits fit incorrectly, supply lines for a clawfoot tub appear to be in the wrong place making the faucet "fit" on a weird angle, our suction pump has 3/4" line where there should have been 1" (it is 1" into the house and then, for some reason, is switched to 3/4" inside. As a result there is not enough water pressure in the house) and we were billed for a gas line behind our stove but it does not appear to be there. Repeated calls to Bro-Tech have yielded no response or solution.

Edit: Bro-Tech finally reached out to clear up a couple of things. I now believe some of these issues are due to our contractors lack of communication between us and Bro-Tech. However, it is unfortunate that it took me leaving a negative review to receive a response. These issues could have easily been cleared up with a returned phone call.

Had a problem with a gas leak in the shop furnace. Service was prompt with Preston showing up the same afternoon and diagnosing the problem. Retrieved parts that evening and returned the following am to replace and fix the issue. Wouldn't hesitate at all to have them back or refer.

Two days ago when it was -50 our heater stop working our furnace We didn’t know what to do. We call this company bro tech they help us to get our heat back in six hours or less than six hours and furnish needed a new part so that’s why it took a little bit waiting, but he fixed it in half an hour and the man who came he was so professional, thank you very much bro tech for helping us we will use you again and will give the reference to others

Dylan and Preston responded quickly when my blower motor went and we had no air conditioning. They gave me a couple of options on parts and had it installed within 48 hours. Absolutely blown away by their response time and transparency.

Called bro tech after another company claimed I required a replacement furnace for a 2nd opinion as I wasn't convinced it needed replacement. Sure enough the owner of bro tech came out in 30 mins after initial service from other company and I told him what I found from my own troubleshooting and he found out it was a small repair required to get furnace running and didn't need replacement. Got running in 30 minutes. High recommend their services to others and their straight forward approach to doing business. Anyone in strathmore I recommend calling them.
