The sales experience was nothing short of excellent. Our Sales Representative, Kevin Banks, has definitely helped beyond expectations with his indepth knowledgeable and has always taken the time to understand our needs and preferences. He guided us through the options with patience and expertise, ensuring we made informed decisions without any pressure and has been involved from start to finish.

When it came to installation, the team led by Ben Cox, along with his skilled team members Mark and Abbott, was simply phenomenal. Their efficiency, skill, and meticulous attention to detail were top-notch. Ben and his team worked diligently and respectfully in our cottage and definitely took the time to ensure the windows were installed perfectly. Kevin Banks, Ben Cox, Mark and Abbott care. I think this is the best and only way to define their dedication to their customer.

And the windows - I wish you could see them as they are absolutely outstanding and incredibly soundproof. The clarity of the glass is remarkable, allowing for brighter interiors and a much clearer view of the outdoors. Not only do they operate exceptionally well, but they look fantastic which is a testament to the advice given when choosing the windows.

Choosing Clera Windows & Doors was definitely one of the best decisions I've made and I wholeheartedly recommend them without hesitation.

We are absolutely thrilled with Clera Windows and the exceptional service from Gihan and the installation team led by John. We are actually a returning customer of Clera's when we had our doors installed 12 years ago. This time when we wanted new windows we didn't even bother shopping around...we made the call back to Clera. From the the initial consultation where Gihan made sure we were well informed of all the details of what type of windows/various features option benefits, to the final installation by John, the team was professional, courteous, and efficient. John and his team worked so diligently and ensured each window was done to our satisfaction and perfection. I love the new windows in overall appearance (especially the tinting) and can't wait to see the difference it will make in our energy efficiency in the home. I highly recommend Clera windows and will definately refer this team for their outstanding work and customer service to other people in the future. Our disappointing experience with Clera is a long story which we are trying to summarize in four key areas:

1. Delays - The project took over three months to complete (November 2024 to January 2025), whereas our neighbours who used other window companies, had similar jobs done in just 3–5 days. Several of the 25 windows weren’t ready at the start of the job, and the custom arched wood trims were delayed by months. We were told these trims were outsourced to another company. The prolonged uncertainty disrupted our holiday plans, and our home remained in a constant state of construction throughout this time.

2. Workmanship - A picture is worth a thousand words; please see attached photos and judge for yourself.

3. Damage to floors and walls - Although floor protectors were placed, they were dirty and full of debris, offering little real protection. Workers frequently stepped on uncovered areas with wet boots or outdoor shoes. In addition, wood chips, sealant caps, dried foam, and other debris were left behind both inside and outside the house. While we managed to clean some areas like the backyard and driveway ourselves, we would have to hire professionals to clean the gutters.

4. Incorrect measurements and additional costs - The quoted price included reinstallation of our existing shutters. However, partway through the project, the installer realized that the window crank handles interfered with the shutters, preventing the windows from opening fully. The worst was with the bay window, where the shutters became completely unusable. We ended up spending over $2K on new shutters for the bay window alone, and another $800 to modify other shutters to accommodate the crank handles.

While the project is now technically complete, but every time a friend or a neighbour asks about our experience with Clera, the disappointment resurfaces. We only wish we had a more positive story to share!

We loved our experience with CLERA. Kevin, our sales rep, always communicated promptly, and the installation team led by Ben was awesome. They were easy to work with, hardworking, and we were thrilled with the finished product. I added a before and after pic of the back of the house (after is the black trim).

Gihan guided us through the entire process smoothly, from the initial discussions, measurement, and installation. Gihan won us over by being prompt and knowledgeable on all fronts, from product info, energy rating, to warranty information, via email, phone call, and text. He also pointed us to the Canada Greener Homes Loan program and an energy auditor, which is a great source of relief. The measurer, Andrey, and the installers, Islam and Amir, are truly masters of their craft, carefully removing the old windows and side door, and putting in the new windows, trim, and caulking. It got pretty dusty, but they took care of us. Our old windows were 30+ years old, and this project completely transformed our space into a modernized, comfortable and functional home. We look forward to our final energy audit, and winter gas bills in the winter to see our savings.

The quality of the windows is outstanding, and they really make a difference in both the appearance and energy efficiency of my home. The installation process was seamless, and the Dwayne took great care to ensure everything was done to perfection. I'm writing this review because they were so important to us when trying to find a company to replace all of our windows and doors. It was apparent that Clera was providing a well regarded product and people were happy with the service. They did not disappoint. From the initial consultation and quote by Adam, to the top notch installation by Ranjan and his team (Vicky & Sayan) - clean, quick and professional !!, we are very happy. The only glitch was that the two arched windows were made 2" short. They were installed on a temporary basis until new ones could be manufactured, delivered and installed within about 10 days. Landscaping improvements also underway at the time were behind schedule causing a couple of installation delays which were easily accommodated by Clera. Highly recommended.
