Not very happy with this company as of today. In may of 2020 I set up with this company and had a vehicle from may 2020 to may 2021 and then traded it on another. Had the new one still on the same policy til may of 2022 then was moving to fort mac so I canceled the policy. Just noticed today money has still been coming out of my bank account so when I called about it it’s apparently for tenant insurance. Meanwhile I was 20 years old first setting up the policy still living with my mom so why would I have to pay tenant insurance? They never asked me if I wanted it cause I would have said no obviously cause I didn’t need it but now here I am at least a year later of them still taking money from me and me not even know it honestly. Yes maybe it’s my own fault for not even noticing but still like come on now like they should at least call or follow up or something. All they can do is cancel it. No refunds for at least a couple of months or anything. Stay away from this company and 110% would not recommend cause stuff u don’t want on you policy will be set up for them to get more money from you.

Customer service is non existent here. I was a customer with this company for 15 years. I recommended others. Our family have given their business, rentals and automotive insurance to this company base on my recommendations from what use to be a good insurance company to deal with. All of them won’t be renewing their policies with this company base on the lack of response when questions need answers. If you want a quote expect to wait two weeks from ms Laura. You will get it when you phone back for it. Don’t expect a call back from her. Terry, if you want your business to survive you better talk to Laura about her customer services skills and her snotty attitude. I for one will be looking elsewhere for all my insurance needs!

I wish I could give zero stars! Since I'm not in NL but have a property there insured with this awful location in Clarenville, my means of communication is either via the phone or email! Speaking of email, don't think anyone in that office actually knows how to use email. Sent 3 emails in the course of about 3 weeks or so, not one reply! This is not how you operate a business, especially if you want to have loyal customers who stick around. Not sure who gave them the two 5 star ratings...maybe family or friends!!! I would never recommend this office location to anyone! Go somewhere else even if it means you pay more for your insurance! Your peace of mind will thank you!

Agent Terry Spurell does NOT return calls. For two weeks I left messages saying urgent and called twice a day. He’s rarely in the office and takes 4 hour lunches. If you are looking for a responsive and professional broker this isn’t the place to go. Agree with other reviewers that the 5 star reviews must have came from family. Stay away.

For example Johnstons Insurance let me down after 20 years and I will never forget it.

I have insurance with this company and been trying to get a call back for the past month. They quoted me a rate and then 2 months later the rate went up without contacting me. I am really disappointed with this insurance company.
