For the last five years Debbie has been tending to year end taxes for my wife and I. She and her staff have always been attentive, considerate and helpful. Last year when we attended her for our tax briefing she noticed that I had some mobility issues and she inquired if I was experiencing an acute or a chronic problem. I said it had been going on for some time and she suggested that we should make application to the CRA for long term disability consideration.
This year we did just that and were granted a refund accumulating a total of nine years of tax reassessments. This was a most unexpected bonus. Going forward, we will now be entitled to additional relief on our yearly assessments
