I stumbled across delicate petals on Google and could not be happier with the decision to have booked them for my wedding in Waskesiu! From our first Zoom call, the ladies had everything covered for decor and made sure there wasn’t a detail missed (as there were many important things I hadn’t even considered such as making sure we had a nice table for signing our marriage license). I never had the change to meet in person until the day before the wedding as we live 6 hours away, but in person meetings were not even necessary with how organized this team is. The ceremony was STUNNING with floating candles and lights, and a beautiful backdrop/partition so the bride couldn’t be seen before walking down the aisle. We had a quick intermission between ceremony and reception and when I saw I was completely blown away by how stunning the reception look when we returned it would be an understatement!!! The decor was impeccable. And at the end of the whole weekend they coordinated cleaning up all the supplies so we could relax. 1000/10 stars! Waskesiu brides need to book this vendor!!

Last but certainly not least - if you are a bride reading this and questioning if you need to hire a day or coordinator, this is your sign that you NEED Amanda!! She made the whole day run so smoothly, trusted our vision, and provided the best service we could have ever asked for. My husband was over the moon excited when she asked to bring us drinks directly to us while we were seated at our sweetheart table. Unimaginably amazing work, our wedding day would not have gone nearly as smoothly if it wasn’t for Amanda!

I took my daughter into Delicate Petals to look for her grad dress. We didn't have an appointment but they brought us in regardless. They took my daughter back to the dressing room and started bringing her dresses of all styles as my daughter wasn't sure the style she wanted. The attendant and the owner helped her with the dresses, when we got to the last one( the one!) The owner had pulled the dress just to see and boy was she spot on with that!!! We were treated amazingly! An absolutely wonderful experience! A big thank you to Delicate Petals for helping us find the perfect dress and the respect they treated us with. We will definitely be back for future events! I highly recommend you go see them if you need any attire for a formal event!!!

Good to work with, but their finances are outright weird. We rented some decor. They don’t accept credit cards, which seems strange given all things wedding are costly wherever you go. Worse, they want a security deposit and accept cash or cheque only. At that point I would have walked away were it not for PA friends who could vouch that they’re legit. And their invoices don’t spell out tax- which is not legal. It’s like they’re just not competent with the money aspect of this.

Violet, Amanda and staff are not only professional but so friendly. They made my wedding planning experience stress free and my wedding looked absolutely stunning!! From the moment I got engaged I knew I was choosing delicate petals and I’m so glad I did! The rental fees are very reasonable, and the shopping experience was very fun!! Can’t say enough good things about everyone!

The new store is beautiful and has so much stock to choose from to rent.

So we live an hour away. Booked an appointment and tried on grad dresses for my daughter. Experience was ok at first. Dress was picked she was super happy. We had a moment she found THE DRESS! Super excited! Dress was paid for in full by cash. Would not accept credit card. This was a minor inconvenience but it is their business. We wait a couple months to get this dress back. We make an appointment on a Saturday to try the dress on and pick it up. Something seems off. Put the size 12 dress next to the size 4 dress we ordered in. This dress is not the same colour. It’s burgundy and the other was purple. It’s not as sparkly and the materials used are less quality. This is like in the store was brand name and the dress brought in was like online ordered from China. There was even a white thread sewn into the hem. The fabrics used don’t hold shape like the dress in the store. The dress in question is the secret by Alyce #1824. So the lady that I was dealing with said they would hold onto it and check the warehouse to see if they could replace it. I was told I would get a call back the following Tuesday. I called them back the Thursday. The girl I talked to before said that they were needing more time. I waited a couple more days and she called back to tell me that they would give me 20% cash. So I agreed. I got my mom to pick up for me and got the dress delivered by my sister and handed $55.35. Which is not what I agreed to. I called them and spoke to the owner and she kept calculating and said that well she would see and call me back. So today went in to talk to them. I had no receipt with any numbers on it reflecting the amount just one that said $444.85. We paid in full $624.37. I am disgusted at this point. They tell me to leave and come back to discuss at 3:30 pm. The one lady said that they were busy with appointments and just wanted me to leave. I know it’s because they did not want anyone in the store to hear how they do business. Went back at 3:30 pm missing my nieces birthday party. They wanted another 4 days to try and figure this out. They wanted me to leave and get a call on the following Tuesday again. I said no the owner should have dealt with this the first problem and that I have already waited and had issues. I told them what would it take for me to leave and not say another word. The ladies even agreed that the dress is not the same quality. They came back with another $83.50 and said that’s all they can do. The owner Violet refused to talk to me had zero care in what happened or how we left the store. Zero disregard for the products they are selling. If I wanted online crap I would have ordered online. Worst dress experience ever! No real receipt of any of it. Could have tried to make this situation right. Instead ruined the whole experience. I wouldn’t even give them a star it’s just I can’t leave a review without one.

I went shopping for a wedding dress here yesterday, and if you are not from PA, or if you like good customer service, don’t go.

I made an appointment a couple weeks back. As I was driving into PA, I phoned the store to check in… they did not write down my appointment. I know it was right, I had written it down and arranged a special trip from almost 2 hours away to come to this place. There was no apology for not booking me, or that I had come so far and they erred… when mentioned that was just ignored, or followed up by, “It’s been such a busy fall here, we did not anticipate that so many brides would be coming”, like that had to do with the fact that I wasn’t booked, and that it wasn’t their fault. No acknowledgement, even that they messed up. Very few times in my life have I heard a business complain about being popular/ having many customers.

I made the trip, and still wanted to come in. They accommodated us later in the afternoon for about 30-45 mins. When we arrived, the woman whom I spoke with on the phone and the owner of the store talked about my situation, with frustration, right about 15 ft in front of us as we watched. It was very uncomfortable. Then, I was given the minimum amount of explanation about the dresses, minimum amount of help. Little commentary, and I felt like they did not want me to be there. There was another bride trying on dresses, and she was very sweet, and seemed to receive lots of help. The sales associate lady would also occasionally glance into the part of the curtain where it didn’t quite meet the wall while I was undressing to see if I was ready to be zipped or clipped, instead of asking if I was ready. This happened once or twice.

They had some nice dresses and designers, but when I initially made the appointment I had asked what their stock was like. I’m from away, and I have had the experience with a different store where their stock was low, and new dresses were coming in later. I wanted to avoid that, and when I asked I was told yes, lots of dresses, over the phone.

At the end of the dress shopping the owner told us there would be many new dresses coming in during October ‍♀️. Which is the exact situation I was trying to avoid. I was just hoping they would have been honest so I could have waited to book if new dresses would be arriving soon. And no, I will never be back.

The whole experience was quite strange, but I gave 2 stars because in the end they did fit me in, and had nice dresses. But, I would triple check your appointment before going, and I would
not recommend going in with high expectations for customer service.

I leave this review not only because what happened was unfortunate, but knowing where the problems are will hopefully help what could be a promising bridal store mend its shortcomings.
